Works Reasonably Well with Zwave devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have not tried any Zigbee devices, but it has reasonable range with Zwave devices. My garage door sensor and a light switch are both about 30-40ft through a few walls and have no connection issues. I have a leak sensor by my sump pit in the basement (roughly 50-60ft plus more walls) that does not connect. With the Zwave mesh networking, it should connect through the light switch which is in between the hub and leak detector, but it doesn't seem to. I haven't tried to debug yet. The hub itself is easy to set up with your phone. It does take some time to do initial firmware updates, but it all goes smoothly. The phone app is also fairly easy to set up and I've not had an issue of any missed alerts. Some people have reported stability problems with larger numbers of nodes, but at only 4 devices I've not seen any issues.

Great but wish it had better range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the hub overall but I wish it had a a little better range. I use it in a business and it would not reach the from in the original location. I had to move it to get it to work right.

Gets job done well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does the job well done if the devices are within range of 100fts. there is some lag as everything is done in the cloud but still works pretty fast. Hapy to have one

Set up is poor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product should come with a warning. In order to setup any smart device, the device must be within 15 feet of the hub. That sucks when you try to use the hub with smart wall switch. Of course you can purchase a long long LAN cable to get the hub as close as possible! If the hub is near your router you have no alternative other than using a long cable to get the hub as close as possible to the device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
