I have scholar door lock since April this year. I don't have a smart hub to control remotely. Finally, I got Samsung smartthing hub and this control door lock using z-wave. Only cons of this is not able to handle nest. Hope this will works with nest as well.

I had purchased a diff brand prior to this hub. The other stayed offline more than on. I have not had that problem at all with this hub. Now if I can just convince my husband to replace some things with smart things I will be on cloud nine. I really love this hub.

I love this hub. The multiple technologies it's compatible with and the IFTTT and Google Assistant integration make it worth every penny. The Android App on my Note 8 is great and the Geo Fencing works exactly as I'd expect it. I suggest this to everyone!

I’m not the most technologically smart person but the setup of this item was so easy that my wife was impressed by how quickly I was able to get it synced with everything. We will be adding more to this system in the future due to its ease.

Love my new hub. Easy setup, fast response time, and many supported "smart things" to connect to it. I like that I'm not tied sown to a single company when searching for a new smart device to attach to my home automation system.

Connects to Google Home easily and works best with the devices shown on the smartthings website. Also if you use IFTTT, you can have more commands. I have tried the Sengled bulb and I could do multiple things with it.

Connecting the hub was easier than I imagined. Linking it with our Alexa unit has really been a huge benefit - since we can give verbal instructions rather than needing to connect to app each time we want to use.

Easy setup and has enabled me to turn my home into a smart home. Have purchased other SmartThings products that require this hub and have not had any problems. Also, bought this hub on sale for half price!

I have had these hub for a couple of months and this has definitely exceeded my expectations. I always wanted a smart home, so i started with the Ecobee thermostat. From there I added the Smartthings hub, Logitech hub, Google Home, and Cree Connected Lights. My Smartthings can communicate to all of my devices without an issue. And now that I have Google Home I can control everything with my voice. This hub is great and very easy to setup, I recommend this for anyone who wants a smart home.

For the most part I think the hub works great. However, I'd get random notification every other week that my hub is disconnected. I don't experience network issue and given the hub is hard-wired with an ethernet cable, it doesn't make any sense why it keeps getting disconnected. I couldn't find any pattern to it, if I take the ethernet cable out and reconnect, it seems to resolve the problem. Happened three times so far, a little annoyance but still amazed with the features. I have both Samsung sensors and third party sensors added to this hub and a bunch of other devices. I also have an Echo and two Google Home - working seamlessly throughout my home. Without the reboot issue, this is a game changer!

I got the Amazon Echo after reviewing many sites/comments. the Echo is awesome! First, I started with smartthings hub with 3 wemo light switches (outside lights), then that was not enough -- added a hue hub and 2 basic white lights along with adding my already sensi wifi thermostat! Since (just 2 months), I added 3 Hue Color, 5 more pain white, 4 light strips, 1 bloom and the garage door opener --- WOW - 21 Century - I'm living the Jetsons Life with Alexa (Echo and my 2 Echo dot's)

The multipurpose sensor has worked great. I needed to reconnect it once after an update. However, it has worked great ever since. I love that it also tells you the temperature of the room as well.

Bought this to replace an old X10 hub and switched over to SmartThings controls for lights, lamps, and some appliances. It has worked flawlessly with non Samsung smarthing controls and I have it hooked up to Google Home so I can voice control the lights. Samsung automatically updates the firmware over the air a couple times a year to give updates and security patches. It's worked flawlessly for over a year so far.

Very pleased with it. Was easy to set up. Struggled on whether to buy this or the Wink2. This was cheaper and love the flexibility on setting timers based on sunset and sunrise etc. Very cool.

I'm using this to connect my various smart devices to my Google Home and it's worked flawlessly so far. I have 8 lights, some wemo stuff, and a Nest thermostat all connected and I haven't had a single issue. Compare this to my Echo dropping devices daily and I'm very happy with the Smartthings hub. Some say it's difficult to use, but if you can set the time on your microwave, you'll be able to use this just fine. Adding devices is a snap and I highly recommend it!

Bought it for my parents for a Christmas gift. They love it so far. They find the app very easy to use. I was worried that they might struggle with it but so far so good. Hope it keeps up

This product is excellent, and easy to use and set up. The hub is small which is easy to conceal. It work with pretty much any connected device Z-wave, ZigBee, Bluetooth, IoT, IFTT. This hub is also compatible with google home. I have connected to two google homes, smart switches, plugs, sensor and they work beautifully. Also doing custom automation is a breeze. recommend this device for anyone who wants to start home automation it is not expensive and it works.

Just started to as smart home devices and decided to get this hub currently working great with good home and just ok with alexa using a lot of GE Z-wave switches and they all work fine

My home is all Samsung, appliances, electronics, Tv's, phone, washer and dryer, so this smart things hub brings them all together, including Philips Hue bulbs, and Hunter Douglas shades.

After getting a Google mini for Christmas, I bought the hub to go with it... along with a GE z-wave light switch. After setting it up on my home network, setup was straightforward. Only issue was that the hub didn't like being unlinked to my switch, moving it to one of my routers LAN ports made it happy. It paired with my Google minis and new light switch easily... And now I can control my closet light with voice commands!
