Very good connectivity, need more brands

It works with a few of them, but does not work with August Lock, August Dorrbell, gogogate2, d-link, etc. For the brands it does work with it works well, andobviously it works well with other Samsung products.

Really awesome but I wish more things linked

I keep buying common add-ons though that don't link well out of the box. For example Nest and Kevo. Fortunately, there's a great community and github has some amazing custom programs to link things. For the average home-user though, this isn't a good solution. Keep this in mind before buying.

Works with everything I have so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have hooked it up to Amazon Echo, GE Zwave switches, Logitech Harmony Hub and everything is working great. I do have issues every now and then when the "I'm back" and "Goodbye" routines will execute without actually leaving, however I am a windows phone user and I am attributing this to my phone as other windows phone users have reported similar.

Modern Clean Look

Has funtioned with no problems. The App is very nice. The unit is lightweight so once the cables are attached it can be a little hard to get it to stay in one place. Easily slides around with the stiffer ethernet cable connected.

not the IoT hub I was hoping for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Most of the reviews of SmartThings were positive, so I picked up this hub with the hopes of managing my new door locks and light bulbs. The initial setup was a nightmare - the Android app would constantly crash, to the point it was unusable. At one point I was even locked out of it due to an authentication error and had to complete reset everything to factory defaults and start over. I never did get it working. The app just crashed any time I attempted to do use it. So, back to the store it went. The story does have a happy ending: I picked up a Wink hub which has been performing wonderfully and actually works with more of my devices.
