I was trying to get this to work with my tp link product but this didn’t find them. I have a z wave light switch with my adt and this didn’t find it either. I don’t see why I need this now.

Smart Things definitely improved the convenience of making sure lights are switched on/off, doors are locked and such. It gives our family a peace of mind as we travel often and we can just check the app to make sure our home is in order

We have been very pleased with the Smartthings Hub. We have used it with the wifi dimmer switches, wifi outlets, Samsung Hue light bulbs, Samsung hue light strip and the Kwikset wifi deadbolt door lock. All of the items have worked as expected.

Not enough compatibility for me. Otherwise easy to setup and if I there compatible with more smart home devices it would be great, but depending on your setup you may be better off without a hub

I have Smartthings working with Google Mini and several of Samsung light controlers and I am impressed with how they work. It is a little hard to set up the Google to Smartthings interface but it can be completed. I am still learning.

Great hub, PROS:I like how fast it turns lights on and off. Large variety of items that can control. Compatible with Alexa. COMS: not compatible with some of my smart devices, a little no so user friendly to set up auto functions (involved)

While this product does work, there is much more of a learning curve than I had anticipated. I consider myself to be pretty tech savvy and getting existing products to integrate with the hub was much more difficult than I thought it would be.

I have lots light and a/c connected. Like having the timers set for my out side lights and able to change my a/c when need from my phone. Also use it with alexa which is very convenient. Great product and recommend this to everybody..

I haven't had one single issue with my hub since install. The only times I have found that it has been offline is to install an update. Other than that if it does go offline, its so brief that I never knew it was off.

I gave 4 stars because of a not great setup experience and lack of feedback through the LED light. After setup though I have found this to be a great hub, but I purchased on sale for $49. At $99 I would not recommend this hub.

This hub isn't perfect but Samsung seems to have an active role in addressing problems. What I like best is the online community willing to assist getting devices up and running. Overall it's the best HUB and there's no monthly fees!

I bought a plug module as a gift for my daughter and found out that I needed this hub in order make the SmartThings work. It seemed a little overpriced but the other gift was useless without it. Because It was a gift I paid the money

I bought this thinking it would pull all my smart devices together. And for the most it did. It still needs alot of tweaks to make it smoother but it definitely does as advertised.

All the smart home items (lights and cameras) come with apps for setup and automation but its cool to have for a central location for all apps and it keeps you updated on the statuses of your cameras, lights, weather included

1. Pretty easy installation of the hub and app 2. Easy recognition of newly installed z-wave devices 3. Very active community board with multiple "How-To's" and FAQs on the smartthing website to help with products

My initial Hub out of the box had several problems for the first 10 days. After contacting SmartThings, they quickly ordered a replacement for me. Excellent service. The replacement is now working fine (after nearly 3 weeks).

I have only had it connected a couple weeks now. It has already dropped connection 3 times. Seems like software is buggy, however the hub itself seems of ok quality.

The product family is excelent and has outstanding support. Be sure to confirm that devices work on the hub you will be controlling them with before you purchase.This hub seems to be a basic component going forward.

Smartthing is working as expected. Connected my home Schlage lock, Arlo cameras, and lutron lights. At this time, Nest thermostats and Honeywell security devices are not supported which I hope they will as soon.

The hub was simple to install next to my router. I had no problems connecting with a handful of GE z-wave light switches. Also integrates with Google Home so I can control the lights by voice. I'll try some sensors next.
