This is my 2nd Smart Things Hub purchase. I have used these hubs and they work great for me. I use it for security and lighting options. Am adding the garage door controls to monitor and open and close garage doors.

I have a camera and three motion sensors hooked up to the hub. They have worked without a hitch for more than a month. Light control options are a bit limited when compared to Philips hue hub, but enough for my needs.

Simple set up, just enter a code from the package, plug into a wall socket and plug the ethernet cable into a router and that's it. Couldn't be easier. Recognizes all my other products with ease on a new smart home set up.

The website the product guide sends you to seems more like an advertisement page then a start page. Ignore the instructions in the box and just use the mobile app to get set up. Works great with my google home.

Sometimes smart things master server goes down, wish they would have triple super duper back up servers, but alas you take what you can get. Oh use the old app, it's more stable the the "newer" app.

I have Alexa controlling this device which in turn is aware of various events such as motion, opening of a door, sunrise & sunset, time of day. Lights can go on either by voice or by a triggered event.

Have this set up with 20-25 other smart devices in my home. This hub controls them all. Works well with my harmony elite remote and hub. Use smart tiles to control the hub. Pretty nifty little setup.

So I purchased this after a recommendation and could not be happier. This allows me to connect to various Z-wave and zigbee enabled products allowing me to practically control them from anywhere. Best $100 I spent!!

Best Buy ran a sale on these hubs so I picked up a few for the future if needed. Great control and integration with smart devices. Seemless integration with google home and automated services with ifttt.

I was looking for an inexpensive, non-contract security system that would alert me if someone entered my home both when I am at home and away from home. The SmartThings system does all of that.

This is typical Samsung product, seems fancy but not mature. Setup is complicated and sluggish. Limted thrid party product support and very buggy. Even it is sold at $50 I still don't think it worth it.

I backed this product when it was on Kickstarter, and I love to see how it has grown and continues to grow! This is an amazing product that everyone should have!

Bigger this specially too control my Hue Hub and that one lags the capability to restart the lights with previous settings. This one serves the purpose. Wish i had gone with thus hub to start with.

I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion as this hat was the best I have included multiple lights and cameras to my smart home. Easy to use app on your phone or tablet.

This is a great smart home hub. I am using it to automate 4 lighting zones, 2 thermostats, a space heater (to ensure it isn't left on unattended, and it's connected to my Crestron automation processor.

Works great with all my smart devices. Phillips hue and lyfx other devices. Works with front lock zigbee. Only con is that it does not work with nest thermostat i have it and do it separately

Easy but has some limitations. It does not connect to Bluetooth devices which sucks. They are pushing the development of the product so would imagine that it may be possible and coming.

I bought this to replace a staples connect hub that bit the dust. While I really liked the dlink hub the smart things community is awesome. Customer service has been fantastic as well. So far so good!

I run my smart home with smart things. I use the GE zwave light switches and dimmers and connect them with smart things. Very customizable for automation as well.

It's nice to be notified when the doors open or when someone arrives home , also nice to have my lights come on when I get home and go off when I leave and to have it all work in one app
