Returned this as it was when they first starting coming out at an acceptable price. It was a little confusing to set up, and I wasn’t sure about the security of it, so I returned it until I could research it more.

It's a good product , but I had to return it because it was not syncing with my tv, I have a smart tv but it was not on the list . So I returned it , it did work with the other smart things I have in my house . It is a good product

I had this for several months, there were constant delays and outages. Skip this and go with something that isn't dependent on cloud connectivity.

I'm trying to make my home into a smart home. I bought this hub to connect my devices and alexa and so that I could control things remotely. I am really struggling to get it set up. Not as easy as I expected.

A Best Buy employee recommended I try this to monitor the temperature in my refrigerator using my laptop over the internet. This does NOT work with a laptop or desktop. You need an honest-to-goodness cell phone.

It's a little hard to get into this automation device. Some Z-Wave devices requires downloadable apps that sometimes are not free. The interface is not so friendly, I like the Wink interface.

Purchased this along with sensors for home but sensors often disconnect and goes in to dumb mode. If you are buying this as a security system for home, this will not work reliably.

The Hub is cool. I purchased it on sale for 50 dollars. So far I have not done a whole lot with it but it connects to my lights. Although I prefer to use my Hue app to control my lights.

Setup was quick. Purchased thos to use with a ge zwave outdoor socket to use with my pool. The distance was about 15 feet and i kept getting signal loss. I tried for 1 week and it never improved. Wound up returning this unit and using a wifi outdoor outlet which works great. I like the idea and maybe i had a bad one. I was ready to buy many accesories but could not invest in something that did not work at 15 feet. Maybe someone will send me a trial that works and ill change my mind? For now ill try the wifi versions.

I think there are many better options out there for home automation hubs. Smartthings was great before Samsung purchased them. Wasn't worth keeping even with Black Friday pricing.

Haven't really gotten a chance to set up my home to fully use it. But the application is functional and seems to work. Do dislike that it has to be plugged in to an ethernet.

Bought this to use with the kwikset lock for my back door. Having the two connect to each other has been difficult. Not sure if this is Kwikset's fault or Samsung.

When I tried to activate the Smartthings Hub, the code was not valid. After speaking with Samsung they had to reset the code because it had been registered by someone else before it was sold to me. At a minimum this was an inconvenience (a lot of time trying to get it to work and then a lot of time on the phone trying to figure out what was wrong). If BestBuy is reselling returned merchandise, it should be at a discount and they should tell the consumer that is was returned and resold.

This product should come with a warning. In order to setup any smart device, the device must be within 15 feet of the hub. That sucks when you try to use the hub with smart wall switch. Of course you can purchase a long long LAN cable to get the hub as close as possible! If the hub is near your router you have no alternative other than using a long cable to get the hub as close as possible to the device.

Works pretty good and similar to Amazon Echo but its too new and there aren't enough devices that are compatible out yet. Might want to wait a while.

Since I didn't have any of the smart appliances that this product is designed to interact with, it's utility is somewhat limited at this point

This bridge is great that it works with so many different devices out there. I just wish that the app was more user friendly and not so buggy.

Not impressed by the offline control options and capabilities. Decided to roll my own with Home Assistant and a Z-Wave stick instead.

It's a good item to have if you want to control some activity in your house. It just need more items to be able to connect to it.
