Switched from WINK to SmartThings, has some limitation on getting different hardware to work but there is a Hugh community that has created custom fixes. If your looking to get away from WINK and have a need for ZWave & Zigbee J.B. this is the best

Ordered online from Best Buy and received it the next day. Easy to set up using the SmartThings app from my iPhone. Added my Kwikset wireless door locks to the system and it worked perfectly. Total times to set it up is less than 10 minutes.

A little difficult trying to connect certain appliance to the hub but once connected it works great. I haven’t figured out to you set up with WiFi and I have searched several websites.

I purchased it to integrate with "Cree" Smart bulbs with my Google Home. It is a simple straight forward process to connect my Bulb with the Hub and then connect the hub to the Google home. After that, I can control the bulb directly with Hub

Highly customize-able and more support for devices than anything else. I would recommend highly when automating a home as the interface is very easy to use and if you want to geek out you have the option of running customized code for almost everything. Great Stuff Samsung!

I purchased this hub to work with my door lock and also the Ring doorbell camera. I love it and it works well. I gave it 4 stars due to not being alerted when their is activity without having to go inside the App.

I replaced Iris system with Smartthings system. It’s an easy transition, some of iris components are directly compatible to ST. ST community is helpful to setup

After wink starting to add fee for their subscription which wasnt there when i bought it 3 years ago smartthings was the easy and best way to transfer all my smart house devices 30+ with all features and better than wink

Purchased because Wink started charging a monthly fee. Had the whole home transferred in about an hour. Easy UI, and much faster than my old hub for turning on lights and locking doors. Very small footprint makes it easy to hide away.

This Samsung product is easy to connect to the internet and also easy to connect your device whatever it my be. I connected a light switch to control my outside lights. Was easy to program and turn on and shut off exactly when they are scheduled.

this is a great starter hub for home automation, comes equipped with zwave, zigbee, and has integrations for many popular systems to let you hit the ground running.

Originally had the wink 2 hub, which i loved until the company ran out of money and stopped new integrations. Switched to ST and so far have loved it. I was able to recreate my integrations with my lights, locks, etc with relative ease.

Bought this and three water sensing devices to protect our house from sump pumps, water heaters and leaky faucets. It was really easy to set up and is super easy to check on my phone for any problems....would recommend it.

I hated the fact that I had to turn my lights on, and turn them off, and then remember if they were on or off. Now, I just go to my phone if I want to turn my lights on or off… Love it. Easy to use

All legacy Iris hardware synced up and functions with Smarthings hub. My only disappointment was there was no simple 7-day setup for the Radio Thermostats I had. It is only live controlled by my phone.

For the most part it seems to work but for the first couple weeks I had a lot of issues with it and had to call customer tech-support due to some glitches. It seems fine now like they fixed the issues

When Wink changed their business model to a monthly subscription I converted to the Samsung SmartThings hub. Works well. Easy to program and it is more flexible than the Wink was.

Having to replace my home automation system due to the Iris by Lowe’s system scheduled to cease 03/31/19. The Samsung SmartThings system has made this a reasonably smooth transition. Very short learning curve to re-train my brain’s way of doing this.

I always wanted to be able to control my lights with my phone the Google systems were too expensive so this is a nice alternative compatible with many light bulbs.

Needed this to bridge the gap between my Z-Wave thermostat and Alexa. Come to find out, this is the setup everybody wants and is recommended by most. It was easy to set up using the mobile app and the price is fantastic for the quality of product!
