Samsung Smartthings hub

Very easy app controls, reliable pairing with compatible components. I wanted something with no voice control (Alexa etc) but from someone who would probably stay in the game for the long haul. Samsung looked like the best option. I will probably build a non-cloud based smart system and get away from client dependency but for now I’m quite happy with the SmartThings.

Initial set up a bit tricky but then great

Main thing is you have to set up the hub itself as a device before you connect anything to it. That is not really spelled out in the directions.
