    It's too bad, but the Wink eco-system seems to be suffering from a slow death. This SmartThings hub is a good replacement for my Wink hub (v1). It's not as easy to setup as the Wink hub. There's some confusion with just downloading the correct app. Other than that, it's been great so far with my limit usage. I think it's able to operate w/o internet access which my Wink hub (v1) can't do and Wink hub (v2) has been sold out for months.

    I brought this so that I could connect my Z wave door locks and it works great. It took so time in the beginning getting all my equipment connected to it but that it’s set up, I love it. I can change the door codes from my phone. It tells me specifically who locked/unlocked the door and at what time. If I forget to lock up when I leave I can control the locks from my phone anywhere

    Owned and used now for over 6 months. SmartThings has a good but not great selection of companies that it works with. I love having the ability to turn on and off lights remotely and the programming is exceptional. Just be aware what works with what as every lightbulb or sensor does not work with SmartThings
