It’s a great product I love it connect to your lock or to anything it works great

Everything Smarthings works great. The only thing that didn’t work for me was the app. It kept signing me out and I would have to sign back in. Not ideal when you have your cameras and door sensors connected to the hub. When it signs you out, you won’t get any notifications from anything you have connected to it. But the Smartthings products worked great.

The newest Samsung Things hub was great. Very easy to set up and easy to add new devices...Big Fan !!!

There isn't a smart device in my house this hub can't control. Does both Phillips Hue and Z-Wave.

We needed a Smart Home Hub which would allow us to create smart triggers and smart home automation across different smart home devices that we had. The hub does a good job of integrating with most common devices in the market which support Z-wave or Zigbee protocols. It also enables connection with Alexa and Google so that you can call the scenes and automations using your voice assistant.

I converted from Wink to a new Samsung SmartThings hub. The setup took multiple evenings and some outside source research to find compatible programming brands (Commercial Electric from OSRAM lighting). The basic programming was straightforward, but setting up particular scenes or activation groups took many screen touches.

I've seen reviews that suggest the product and/or the app are unstable, but it's proven to be solid with my Z-Wave network so far. The Android app is fully featured, including the ability to pin specific devices to your device home screen, which is super helpful. However, Samsung recently sold the technology to another company - so we'll see what happens longer term.
