Doesn’t work with NEST

The iOS app also lacks a lot of functionality that I had grown accustomed to with my Securifi Almond+ home automation router with touch screen.

Good home automation

SmartThings has a good but not great selection of companies that it works with. I love having the ability to turn on and off lights remotely and the programming is exceptional. Just be aware what works with what as every lightbulb or sensor does not work with SmartThings

Great for Smart Home Automation

The hub does a good job of integrating with most common devices in the market which support Z-wave or Zigbee protocols. It also enables connection with Alexa and Google so that you can call the scenes and automations using your voice assistant.

The setup took multiple evenings and some outside source research to find compatible programming brands (Commercial Electric from OSRAM lighting). The basic programming was straightforward, but setting up particular scenes or activation groups took many screen touches.
