The hub does a good job of integrating with most common devices in the market which support Z-wave or Zigbee protocols. It also enables connection with Alexa and Google so that you can call the scenes and automations using your voice assistant.

The Android app is fully featured, including the ability to pin specific devices to your device home screen, which is super helpful. However, Samsung recently sold the technology to another company - so we'll see what happens longer term.

The 1st one I got would not register. It had a bad serial number. When I called the help desk they told me the only thing I could do was go in exchange it. After that, the 2nd one actually was easy to configure and worked just fine. I was able to add multiple devices easily.

This device worked amazingly well, but I had to return due to the shortcomings. Any automations (routines) I created for sunset, changed to sunrise. I called support and was given the run-around a few times. I discovered a solution on my own and deleted the sunrise automations, however, after being deleted they started running multiple times in the morning. One automation ran over 30 times over a 2 minute period. When I called about the new issue, I was told I could wait for tier2 to look into the issue further, or delete and re-add the devices (much easier said than done). I returned the device reluctantly, and switched to ring/amazon for my smart home needs.
