    After having used both the Wink Hub 1 and 2, this unit stands head-and-shoulders above the rest. Fast API means quicker commands and more open community support means more devices just work with it. It has an amazing app and works with Amazon Echo/Alexa and Google Home well. (Can't speak for Apple Homekit) If you're looking to get into Smart Home integration, this is the perfect place to begin.

    I have a couple of other hubs that work just fine that were a fraction of the cost, unfortunately, some devices only work with certain brands in order to monopolize the market. This was easy to set up and works well. Integration with Alexa tends to be tough and go though.

    I switched from a Wink hub because they are probably going out of business. The ST hub doesn't natively support Lutron so I had to buy a bridge for that. Obviously my Wink Relays don't work with it. It is a little hard to set up versus the Wink. Seems to work OK once set up. But it was a learning curve.

    The Samsung Smart Things Hub is the greatest device to purchase to connect all things samsung in your house. From lights to appliances to switches and plugs it is amazing to have complete control at all times at my fingertips right on my phone.
