I've been through homekit before but smartthings is an app I keep coming back to. With native integration with google home, and android phones, and works well. A few missing features on the new now default app from the old that cam be added and approved.

I bought this button as a cheap alternative to a Hue switch. The room in question only has a single floor lamp and so asking Alexa to turn it on and off all the time was getting annoying - sometimes a switch is easier. The lag between activating the switch and the light coming on is several seconds. Sometimes more than 5 seconds. That may not sound like a lot, but turn on a light and then stand there for 5 seconds - it's more annoying than shouting at the echo to turn things on. While this device technically does what it is supposed to, it doesn't practically work for my application, and I really don't have another use for it.

Met our needs for linking our smart door lock with our phone

I chose SmartThings because of the wide support of products and the automation support. This hub reaches my entire house, no device ever loses connectivity. I have about thirty lights, a handful of motion sensors, cameras, and other miscellaneous devices connected to the hub and the hub is a champ.

Easy to use and set up. Really happy with this product.

Great for using a hub and not the price of a Phillips

Replaced an iris hub with this. It’s mostly okay except it says it should connect to an iris smart outlet and I can’t get it to connect. Not sure who to blame for that. The outlet was connected and working without issue before.

Very easy setup and to configure lighting,sensors...ect

Moved to MX and have no time to to install the hub. Will say that the othe items like the switches work perfectly with out the hub. Don'rt understand why the blue shirts an Best Buy sold me this if the switched work with out it?

It does take a long time to learn about what it can and cannot do, but I still like it. It could use better instructions, or even just list a website with instructions telling how to do things with it, or even what it is compatible with, and what it isn’t compatible with
