We have all Samsung phones and TV in the house so everything works together. Also use this to control a smart things outlet. It puts my Hue lights, TVs and smart things devices under on piece of software on my phone. Also lets me use Google home to control it all.

Honestly I didn’t know what to expect when I bought the item. After owning and using for a year. I am pleased. Setup wasn’t hard but had to be patient. Early on it seems like it was disconnecting a lot then the last 8 months it’s been very stable. Not sure if it was firmware updates.

Plug and play, just make sure to have a free CAT 5 port on the router/switch and power plug near by. The install is easy, setup for the alerts is more trial and error. But if you think about what you want to happen when it's pretty straight forward and allows for remote monitoring when away.

Works anywhere with the Kwickset912_z-wave but does not help add or remove access codes. Great to allow me to unlock and lock remotely. I recommend both

I bought SmartThings since I am looking to move off of wink. Transitioning some items like the Schlage locks was harder than expected, but overall I am satisfied with having smartthings in place now for all my lights and locks.

Works great as advertised but wouldn’t link up with a few items I needed it to so I had to return it,not because the product but because I didn’t make sure it would work with all the home electronics I needed it to pair up with

Bought to replace the IRIS hub since Lowe’s is discontinuing this service. Also looked at the Wink hub however they have limited availability and I have some doubts regarding the long term survival of the Wink sercice. This hub seems very versatile and will work with the various equipment I already have.

Samsung SmartThings Hub is a great hub to connect a variety of things to. Lots of smart home products being produced can connect to it from smoke alarms to front door deadbolts. If you are looking for an alternative to other Hubs Samsungs is very good.

I originally purchased this to get my "smart" thermostat to work, since it was not wifi but Zwave. After I installed this, I was able to realize the full usefulness. Now from 1 app, I can control my garage door, my lights, my TV and my thermostat. Now to buy more smart things.

Setting up required switching from wireless to wired to wireless. Support helped but SmartThings devices seem to be a little immature and temperamental. Support is helpful though.

I switched to SmartThings when Wink decided to charge a monthly fee. I was worried it wouldn’t work as good, but it works with most of my devices and has bigger device library than Wink. The app does freeze sometimes but isn’t a big issue. Overall works great!

I bought this after having the wink, although the interface is not as easy to manage as the wink, it's not that complicated either. Since I already had the smartthings app, it was better to have it all centralized. It's very small, easy to hide. It has an auxiliar USB.

It is a good item to have if you have Samsung TV & entertainment to control it. I have it also connected with Konnected alarm system. It is a good alternative to use rather than Habitat.

Bought one, didn't like its strict compatibility with other products, returned it, tried some others, returned them and bought another Samsung. It is alright Just wish it was compatible with other smart devices (Honeywell).

Got this hub only for the motion sensors since Google Home doesn't support the Samsung sensors but Alexa does. I like that I can write routines that say, " Motion Living Area ", Motion study" etc rather than just a beeping sound. So far no dropped connections yet.

Originally this was the only hub I had in my house to make my house smarter - now I also have EEROS and Alexa, but I have a lot still connected to this one. This was really easy to use and set things up.

I had a vera system until recently, but when a firmware upgrade rendered that useless, I decided to buy this system and I have to say that I wish I made this move earlier. Software app is a little clunky... But overall I'm very pleased!

Good product. Not great. Probably still one of the best in the category. Needs to have notifications when door is opened and closed. My Lowe's Iris did it but was discontinued.

It works as expected. My internet is working as expected but occasionally needs to be reset. I love the fact all my Samsung equipment works seamlessly with it.

Needed a hub, decided to go with this one because the price is good for what you get. Only thing I don't like is how dependent it is on the cloud, so if Internet goes down, some things might not work. Hasn't been a problem yet, though.
