Basic smart home hub with all the features you really need. The hardware is great however the software can be frustrating at best.

I hated that I had to buy this to connect my Samsung devices but I had not choice. The app takes a bit to load and collect device info but overall I think it’s nice. I use wink and this one now.

Got this on sale and am very happy it does have a very large learning curve but you can use this either wired or wified it also has a very large range of equipment you can use.

Great hub. Much better than the wink I threw out. Works well with lights, dimmers, door lock, Alexa, thermostat, and smart outlet. Fantastic support team for detailed requests.

I was able to utilize this Smart Things App with some Smart Light Features that was built into my home & didn’t utilize for 3 years! Connects easily & hub recognizes everything!

just what I need to control all my smarthings devices, the device working very well but needs some improvement, in overall do the right work.

For what I needed this for. It does it's job. I've noticed it keeps either going offline or it's not connected to my devices 100% of the time...therefore, not as accurate as I'd like. The app for this is actually quite crappy. The classic version of the app is much more user friendly and gives the details that I'd like (doorlock entry times).

Works great with smart things devices can be a little tricky with other devices. I would get on the website and see if your devices are compatible before you buy.

Switch from my Wink to this Samsung. After having it for a few months I couldn’t be happier. Easy switch from my Wink to the Samsung hub using my existing GE zwave switches.

Samsung could have a great "Thing" going but their app is horrible and takes too long to set up each device.

Paired with my Samsung phone and leviton switches I can now control and set timers to my exterior lights!

The Smart Things hub is an excellent addition to your house as it helps you to manage your wireless devices in one place, no need switching between multiple applications.

Light weight and works very well. However, the setup you have to move it closer to the devices. Then goods well in a central location.

After getting rid of my adt system which was being used with all my smart devices. I got this to link them all together and working great.

Only worked good this one had trouble connecting took back. Went with alexa hub works flawless

Had to Replace my home automation hub. It was iris by Lowe’s home improvement. This one seems to work even better and was an easy replacement. Still works with most of my outlets and switches.

unnecessarily complicated, doesn't support enough devices (especially Zigbee) without searching for user-provided driver's, doesn't have a very easy to use browser interface, and just isn't easy to use in a mixed environment. I gave up and returned it after finding out that too many of my devices would work after trying to switch from Wink. I bought a Hubitat Elevation and have loved since.

This device is very manageable and expandable only to your imagination, can’t say enough about the uses , just be thoughtful on all side of the rules you create , simply magnificent.

Tried the Samsung setup before switching over to the Google Nest ecosystem. The pairing of devices was a bit of a challenge (for some, not all) and the interface needs some work. It just felt incomplete. I switched to Google Nest and would recommend Google over Samsung. Samsung makes great phones but has some work to do to catch up in the Smart Home category. It feels as clunky as Samsung's smart assistant Bixby did when it was first released.

This Smartthings hub is just a component in a system. After buying this, I realized I had to also buy a Philips Hue hub to connect LED lighting strips.
