Camera quality is glitchy and slow blurry not sure i would recommend this to anyone

Simple to put up although it doesn't record everything in color. Its a bit cheaper than many other options but it serves the purpose

2.4G network. 5G doesn’t work. But picture quality not bad

I'm a long time SmartThings user with more than 30 connected SmartThings devices in my home. Saw this camera at a great discounted price and thought it will be a good secondary camera. Unfortunately I was unable to register this camera to my SmartThings account. The network configuration part wasn't an issue. The camera was able to connect to my home network. It was SmartThings app timeout at 99% registration progress on both Android and iOS devices prevented this device to be functional. Contacted SmartThings support, but they couldn't resolve the issue. There are other people faced the same problem with registration. I ended up returning this useless camera. The first SmartThings device I couldn't configure.

Will not connect back to video, and phone easy. Good

Camera has a great wide angle; but too often than not the camera feature will randomly stop recording. I hate this camera!!!!

first, wifi sensitivity is considerably less than original smartthings cam. second, the recording time (5 sec.) is too short. unless i want to pay a monthly service. original smartthings cam recorded for 10 sec. without a monthly service charge.

This camera is great, the picture is very clear even when its dark. audio is great also.

I needed a camera to keep an eye on my 82 year old mother.. it was easy to setup and works great.

Since I can not get a security system installed presently, this works great as a replacement.

Samsung smart things camera as many things - a high-quality security camera with terrific day and night vision, good looking, flexible in terms of installation options, and packed with features that you would spend far more to get on a wireless security camera. Image quality is off the charts. While it may only be a 1080P camera, it features HDR video. This allows for more details in both bright and dim settings. It also asked for richer color quality. Audio recording it is also good. Two-way conversations are clear. Mounting is either done by setting the camera on a shelf inconspicuously, or using the included screws to mount it to a wall. The standard of hours for flexible placement of the camera head. Keep in mind, this is an indoor only camera. The fatal flaw for me, and for many people, it’s the lack of vocal recording. Most security cameras in this price range feature either internal storage or an internal SD card slot. While Samsung does offer cloud storage for video, keep in mind that the video Will eat into your data With certain Internet providers. Also, to receive more than 24 hours of rolling storage, a monthly fee will apply. Do I recommend this camera? For those who don’t have to worry about their ISP’s data cap, sure. For those who are good with the idea of paying a monthly fee to store more than 24 hours of video, sure. But if you want to camera with local storage, this is not the option for you.
