Q: The description states that this camera is wireless but I can see a cord. Is it wireless?
A: Unfortunately it is not wireless great camera overall for the price
Q: Is there a monthly/yearly subscription service that is needed in order to view videos on phone app?
A: You can keep videos for free for 24 hours
Q: Does this camera offer sound detection alerts? I need to know if my dog is barking while I’m out.
A: Yes. And it's very sensitive. I wish I could turn sound detection sensitivity down. I'm away from home and get alerts frequently of sound detected but nothing found on video images.
A: I can view it in real time. Yes, only needs power and wifi. However in my case it was useless; disconnects multiple times. I was told by tech support that it does not work with 5G wifi.
A: You can only view the live footage from your SmartThings enabled TV. Anything that was recorded is available on the SmartThings app.
Q: Can customers easily obtain the MAC address upon unpacking the product?

A: Under the conditions described in query my cameras display a black and white image. My 3 cameras respond witnin 2 - 3 seconds.
