After upgrading my smarthome hub to Smartthings I decided to upgrade my door switches as well. This switch works well and is recognized quickly. The switch uses button batteries which should have a better life than the AAA powered switch I replaced.

I didn't want the whole Smart Things starter kit. I wanted to go a la carte. I picked up two sensors on sale for 25% off. Easy to set up and I like that fact that they have a temp sensor. No issues so far!

Bought this item to determine if the garage door is open or shut (note it doesn't have the ability to close or open the door, just reports the status). These sensors don't eat battery life, report the temperature and are consistent in what they report.

These door sensors are very small, easy to pair with hub, and very accurate.

Have been waiting for theholidays to come and best buy had the best prices.

A universal device that can be programmed to do a lot of things - nice!

I have had the sensor for a couple months now and waited to write the review until now. I had heard of people having numerous false alarms and issue with SmartThings in general, but I have been trouble free. Battery life has been excellent as well.

Good product for smart home with cheap price. Easy to install and setup.

Paired these with my SmartThings hub and now my home is fully secured

I love Hues products. These lights are awesome. Just a bit spendy.

These sense temperature, position, and acceleration as well as the proximity of the magnet. They work well. I have six; one failed within two weeks but Best Buy was very good about replacing it. I will be buying more when they go on sale.

I use these to monitor my the doors in my house. I get notified when the doors are opened and if the alarm is set I receive a notification that the door has been activated. It also reports the temperature at the area around the switch.

We used these on our house doors and the garage door as well. It is great. Almost a year on the batteries and no low batt. warnings yet. We set the garage door one to notify if left open for more than a few minutes.

Pretty good door/window sensor but a little over priced in my opinion. There are plenty of Zwave or Zigbee sensors out there for a better price. The main advantage to this sensor is that it connects very easily to the smartthings hub.

The motion detector paired up easily with the hub. No issues so far

I have several of these sensors and have been happy with them.

Attached to bottom of refrigerator door, Logs when it was opened/closed and times left open, also has sensor to tell what temperature is at this location..Not sure on battery life yet.

I use the Smartthings products all over the house. Love it
