Glad to see Bestbuy starting to carry Smartthings.

Easy setup, good to go. Note that SmartThings like this can only be set up via smartphone, not your PC/Mac... works great, used it to check on our "housesetter" while we were away for two weeks

I use it to check a garage door being open, and a door on an elevator. Used to trigger text messages when someone opens the garage. Turn on a light at night when a door opens on a floor.

I have of these installed through my house. It comes with Temperature sensing as well as door/window status contact. I am very happy with the Smarthings HUB and add ons. Samsung does it again.

I purchased this sensor along with several others to link with my smarthings hub. Overall setup was easy. I researched other brands of hubs and sensors, smartthings is definitely the best.

I've got these things everywhere. I love the insight these provide in my home. Open the media center, bam, lights on, close it, bam, lights off. Great battery life too!

This product has many great uses. I use it to connect to my garage so I know if I left the door open or not. It also can tell tempature so I know how cold it is before I go down there

Love this multipurpose sensor, give precise info on temperature, battery, vibration and when door or window is open or closed. Best of all, it is always connected. No connectivity issues.

If you're just looking for an open/shut sensor there are cheaper options, but this one includes vibration and position sensing. Very dependable so far, and battery life seems good.

I programmed the sensor on my back door to notify users via text if theres a knock....just in case my 2yo daughter locks me out when I walk out,which they can unlock door for me.

Have had some of my sensors for a year now and the battery life is down less than 20 and a couple are still at 100% battery life. Very happy and great peace of mind.

While this sensor is more expensive than the cheager Iris brand sensors this one has more features. Range and detection speed is quicker and battery life seems to be better as well.

I think this is a good sensor as name suggests multipurpose sensor. I am using them primarily as door sensor which it works pretty nice and can tell you the temperature too.

I really like how this small item has many features. Connects very easily to Samsung's smart home app. Is also very easy to install on many different types of doors or windows.

I have no current plans to use this Sensor on a door/window. I bought it mainly for home security as a vibration sensor and also temperature. So far, it is working very good.

This "thing" works great, I use it as door knocker and door checker. it does the job perfectly. else, it provide the temperature of the room to my smart home equipment as well

Nice for detecting simple things like refrigerator door opening, and letting me know what the real temperature is inside. If it gets too warm, I know someone left the door open.

It is a great sensor for doors and it has a vibration and temperature on it which is great. It could be smaller for doors but it prob wouldn't have as many features if it was.

I installed this sensor on my patio sliding door and it has not had a problem reporting open or closed. I have had no issues with the product and it was easy to setup.

Great multipurpose sensor for any smart home. I use mine to turn the lights on when I get home. Sync and set up was a breeze. Comes with everything needed to mount.
