I didn't want to lock in to a home security contract but wanted confidence no one was entering my home when I was out, plus to know when kids got home. Set up sensors at all three entry doors plus activated "vibration" option for the big glass garden door (in case someone broke the glass to enter). So far so good - I get text alerts when the garden door shakes (need to tweak that a bit as I am the one doing the slamming because it sticks). Haven't been gone while kids have come in and out so haven't tested those notifications yet, but assume they will work like the vibration alerts.

Mount these to all sorts of things to track whether it's open or closed, such as doors our windows. Also acts as a temperature, acceleration, and vibration sensor

Works great use if for mostly temperature but overall the are great. can also be used for garage overhead door sensor. there's an option you select

If you need a sensor to monitor basic things like door open/closed and temperature, it doesn't get any better or easier as long as you have the hub.

I've had three sensors up on three different doors. All three have gone randomly offline, requiring me to take them off the door, take out and reinsert battery, and then reattach to door. When they work, they work well. The vibration "app" I added to the big glass door is a nice touch as someone could just break the glass to enter (and it definitely works as I've given the door a hard couple bangs and gotten alerts about it). But the tendency to go offline is a pain. Also, the app keeps forcing me to log back in which is a pain. I'd recommend but be prepared to trouble shoot.

Not only do they work well they're small and also have room temperature tried many others that didn't work as well

After 2 weeks of installation, the unit became unreachable and I had to repair it with the Hub - other than that, the unit seems to be doing its job.

This os very good sensor. Survived couple of hard falls still works fine. The battery life indicator in smartthings app keeps you updated.

I like this sensor because it tells you the temperature where its located. I like that feature since I have one in each room and know the temperature.

I bought a handful of these to put on all of the exterior doors on my home. Along with the Samsung hub I now receive alerts if a door is open for an extended period of time. More importantly the system can trigger your camera(s) to start recording video in the event one of your doors is opened unexpectedly while your home is armed and in the "away" status. Simple and they work great. I plan on buying another one as they can also work as a sensor to alert you if your garage door is opened and/or if your garage door is left open for an extended period of time.

An essential part of the smartthings monitoring system. Can keep track of opening and closing doors or windows and even can monitor the temperature.

Before it doesn't work. i like this product. But one day, it just stop working anymore. and becuz it passed the return time and i dont have the original packaging..i didn't return it.

I really like these sensors. They are small and accurate. They look nice and don't stand out in the room. The battery lasts long too.

I needed to replace a sensor on one of my windows in my smart things environment. These are great for temperature and open/close.

For the price, you can't beat this. Being able to determine tilt, vibration, temp and contact in one device is great. Will be buying more.

This is a great product for smartthings and can be used for both garage doors or normal doors. Battery life is great as well.

Easy to install Notify u when Windows are open and close. Had to dig through the direction to get the notifications to work.
