I built a frame inside the cove to attach the mount. While this mount is of excellent quality and is a great bargain, I probably should have bought one that extends out more due to the location of my TV. It is very hard to get behind the TV to access any of the inputs/outputs. For mounting to a flat wall, this is an excellent choice.

However, for our family that has multiple game systems connected to the television set, this has been a life saver! It extends away from the wall and tilts so we can easily connect consoles and other other devices. Tilts as well so covers all bases for adjustments for us.

I deducted a couple of stars, however, due to there being no indication on the outside of the box that a separate mounting kit would have to be ordered to mount on steel studs. I didn't mind having to get the separate kit, but knowing ahead of time would have saved a lot of aggravation.

Strong and durable, yet fairly easy to manipulate when access to the rear of the tv or an adjustment is needed. Handles my 86” well. I would definitely recommend this product.

I believe the wall mount is a DIY install, but needed the team's help to lift TV in place.
