You'll definitely need a stud sensor, and I recommend watching the online videos. I'm considering buying another one for a TV in a different room.

Its what I personally have and what I recomend to anyone buying a tv and wanting to mount it!

Previously I had a smaller mount for a smaller Smart TV. Great strong and sturdy support.

It's sturdy and allows the tv to tilt up/down and swing left/right a little bit, which allows access to the back if you need to mess with cables, etc.
