Very Flimsy

The metal was very thin, and didn’t give me a good feeling considering the massive TV I was about to hang on it. When compared to the other, it was like a toy vs the real thing. The extension part that pulls out is comprised of two fairly thin bars, about ½” wide, connected by a rivet in the middle. Seriously? A rivet?? It was when I saw the single-rivet-pivot that I decided there was no way I was putting an 85”, 101 pound TV on it. Returned to store.

Defective piece shipped

One of the end pieces came broken in 2 pieces. there was no damage to the box, which leads me to believe it was put into the box defective. It is not a critical piece, but since I had company coming the day it arrived, I installed it as it was without the plastic end piece on one side

Best mount for wood studs

I had bought a full motion bracket for 1/3 the price on Amazon, but the store employees said this was the least expensive bracket I could use above a fireplace. I gave the installers the choice after explaining my story, went out, and they chose the Samos.
