The material is very sturdy. Six screws to the wall stud. Feels very secure to extend the 86 inch/65 lbs TV away from the wall and change the angle as needed.

We have a Sony X91J, 95" tv and this mount holds it just fine. While you can budget shop for some smaller TV mounts and question some of their quality, I've never done that with large TV's and Sanus. The Sanus mount is always of good quality and holds up very well.

Two of the screws weren’t holding very tightly so we felt we needed extra support. I’m not sure if that’s related to the way we put them in or not. Holds up nicely and is discreet but we can still turn it easily to get the plugs in the back.
