    This is the first time for a wall mount tv. Love this mount...can adjust location of tv from side to side; can tilt tv; tv fits pretty snuggly up to wall, but obviously not against due to hardware. Very happy the Best Buy store associate suggested this mount!

    I don’t believe this to be suitable for tvs as small as 42”. While the unit is technically small enough, you won’t be able to use its side to side adjustability if your wall studs aren’t aligned with where you want to place the tv.
