Sits very flush with wall but allows you enough pull out space to make connections. Mount is very solid and can be adjusted a few degrees in every direction but is NOT a fully articulating arm mount.

The mount pulls out far enough to where you can get in behind the TV to manage cables without taking the TV off of the wall

I was also able to mount our cable box and a surge protector easily behind the TV because the mount extends from the wall. It is sturdy and easy to attach to the wall. I researched numerous mounts and chose this one because of the wide opening of the frame. Too many other options would have interfered with the electric and cable recessed box behind the TV. The result is a TV which is firmly mounted on the wall which also hides all cable and electric lines. I highly recommend this product.

Bracket is as advertised; Mounting ap disappointed

And it's a BUT that cost Sanus two stars -- the application Sanus provides to calculate the exact right placement of the bracket for you left me mounting my brand new 77" LG OLED five inches lower than intended, costing me valuable space on the upper shelf of my TV console unless I wanted to wrangle that 77" off the wall, risk damaging it, so I could unbolt the bracket and drill four more holes in my wall. Warning, do the calculation on paper for where you need the bracket. Don't trust Sanus' calculating app.
