It allows me to adjust the TV when I'm working in the kitchen and/or if the sun is too bright in the morning (my living room has big bay windows). It's been perfect and so easy to adjust. I also didn't realize how much I would love having my TV mounted in the first place - completely changes the room - total game changer!
