I could have brought two glass shelves and attached them to my wall. All in all it serves it's purpose.

I am sorry you don't like the look of the product. You are correct, this is two glass shelves that attach to the wall, but our pole down the middle is the safest way to make sure it holds your components. Let us know if you need anything else.

I had 4 componenents, so I needed two of them. Currently supporting a cable box, PS3, surround sound receiver and laptop. Shelves were large enough to fit everything comfortably. I centered them underneath so they look really cool. Had originally purchased an audio tower, but returned it for these. Cost was about the same, but the streamlined look is way better. Cords can run through the unit in the back but do not stay in, I suggest zip ties for a cleaner look.

Looks good and saves space. If you don't like cabinets or stands to hold DVD/Cable boxes, this is for you and it's easy to install!

The wall anchors themselves are placed in the wall with a piece of plastic that just doesn't hold well. Quick trip to the hardware store for some different anchors did the trick, and it works great. Holds quite a bit of weight.
