    Had geek squad mount my sound at below my tv. I don’t recommend if you don’t have a console or table blocking the added outlet.

    Went into the store, told the salesman that I wanted to tv mount a soundbar and tv he took me to this and handed it to me. I was in a hurry and bought it without much other thought. In short, it’s a glorified, way overpriced extension cord. By the time you go to the effort to cut wall holes and all it’s just as easy to buy a hard-wire kit and drop a wire to an outlet below for about 25% of the cost of this thing.

    Don’t get me wrong, this kit does exactly what is intended. The issue is that if you have electronics that do not have a straight plug, that is to say anything with a 90° plug or larger than standard 2 or 3 prong, it will not fit due to the recessed outlets. I had to utilize extenders to make the plugs work. Would have returned if didn’t get for open box deal.
