Also, there is not much room for flexing the cord around to change the direction of the outlet face. I ultimately created a false wall to make my entertainment center work.

You don't need an in wall soundbar to hide wires. Soundbars are very easy to install on the wall right under a TV that is on the wall without showing any wires. I didn't even open this product after I purchased it. I returned it because I realized that it required to make more holes in the wall to install it. The product is overpriced as well. Waste.

Although it is possible to mount the soundbar close to the TV and hide wires, in many cases such as installation with a full motion TV mount, a kit like this would be necessary to hide all of the wires. Too much trouble
