Heavy duty universal mount

Didn't Fit

Works but, not as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I like this a lot for the articulation and small footprint but 3 things. 1. I pulled my hair out trying to mount the TV (Samsung 50") to it and no matter which configuration I tried the VESA standard 400x400 would not work with this. I drilled the piece a bit to make it work and it did but why would this be!? So much for having a standard... 2. The first time I tried tilting the TV vertically, once mounted, the joint seemed to seize in its position (angled way upward) and it was a real struggle to get it "unstuck". I have not had the issue since but now feel nervous about it when wanting to adjust. 3. The screws to tighten the rotation of the TV start out as tight as they go and the TV rotates almost too easily. This means that whenever I change the view angle of the TV (from living to dining room) the TV gets (accidentally) slightly rotated and, well, I'm obsessive and so it bothers me till I get it straightened out again. Not a huge deal, and better than having the opposite problem, but it should work as intended. Overall this was the only product I found with this kind of articulation which supported the weight needed. My TV comes in far under supported weight and depending on the space the product could likely handle a larger TV if it meets weight restrictions; but proceed at your own parel :) I would recommend this with the above words of caution as ultimately it meets my needs.
