Not having the television sitting on a peice of furniture or just on the stand makes it a much better look for the room . I wouldn't do it any other way.

It also comes with a tool in the package. No special tools are required. The excellent stable and reliable fits for tv.

It took us all of 30 minutes with drilling the holes and placing our TV and we are not worried about it coming down off the wall.
