Great piece of tech.ive used Seagate drives since 2000. I’ll always recommend this drive as they stand behind their product.

After a backup drive from another well-known manufacturer failed after only a few months, we are happy with this Seagate drive. But we had learned previously to back up alternately to TWO backup drives every day, so we didn't lose any important data.

DEAD after 1 month. Seagate return policy requires customer to pay to ship item back to them? What?? You have a product that doesn't last more than a month and after buying it, you are now telling me I have to pay you again to send back a non-working hard drive??

Drive speed is a bit slow but isnt that important to me, stores data well

Works great. I recently purchased a different model that was DOA but this one worked perfectly. I am not sure how fast it transfers because I was transferring large amounts of data between two external drives but it still worked well with no errors.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to download any single picture on this,even I did all troubleshooting and reformatting still not working as I wanted. First plug and play not ready otherwise I would have rated differently after several attempts to move , copy drag or download something to it . Started to work and it took like 15 hrs for 9k pics just to figure out that the folder was corrupted and started again for other 13 hrs and supposedly finished to find out that the folder was empty. I’m calling for savvy support, wish me good luck otherwise returning it to the store, sorry seagate

It’s really good if you don’t accidentally drop it. I mean not even a love tap or else it starts acting broken. Dosnt wanna transfer stuff dosnt wanna do anything and then it removes its self
