I got the 4 TB version the oy problem is that i have to move things back and forth between the two memories before i can play

Love this drive. It's plenty big enough for all my legacy games and it's hard to distinguish between this external and the internal drive speeds. It's very easy to setup and use and the green accent light is a nice touch. It matches the colors of my other accessories perfectly. My only gripe about this drive is I wish the cable was longer so I could locate the drive differently in my setup but that's minor. Buyers need to be aware you can not load next gen games to this drive (yet?).

The Seagate 4TB drive is not a SSD drive but a mechanical drive that will set up quickly for additional external storage for lots of games, The unit mates to the black Xbox X along with a nice green light to let you know its connected using USB 3 (blue connector). Having setup up the drive for game storage I can use the drive between my Xbox One and Xbox X when needed. Even though the drive is not SSD it will seem to effect much the load time when needed.

One, it just looks so cool with the green led. But, most importantly,It compliments the Xbox Game pass so well. It will *not* play Xbox X games from this external drive (which is why i was hesitant to initially purchase) but transfering from the external HD to SSD is sooooo much faster than re-downloading. It will play legacy xbox games straight from the external HD. You can build a massive library with game pass and just keep the ones you play most on SSD.

This drive is everything I needed and more. Super fast transfer speeds, compact design, and it worked right out of the box. I’ve used it for gaming storage, work files, and even backing up videos—no hiccups at all. Solid build, quiet operation, and stays cool. Definitely worth every penny if you need dependable storage with speed.

Works very well. This drive is not as fast as SSD drives, but speed and game play is relatively negligible. Best part is that is costs much less than comparable sizes SSD drives. Kids love the fact that it has the green LED

A solid 5tb of space and a soothing green tech glow makes this fun and functional. The one downside, on an Xbox Series X, it may not be usable to play games off of (you can still store the downloads there). But that’s a Microsoft issue and not a product issue.

Amazing space, i was a little disappointed that it wasnt compatable with x/s series games but it still stored alot of old xbox one games with was amazing

I bought this for my Xbox Series X as the internal SSD was filling up fast. I put all my older Xbox 360 downloads on it, or transfer a game that fallen out of rotation. You cannot play XSX optimized games from it, however, you can store it and then move it back to the internal SSD. This saves you the time needed to re-download a game.

Excellent storage capacity and the size of the memory that is designed is perfect

I needed something to hold all my gaming files. This is perfect, doesn't take up much space. Easy to install.

This is fantastic for a cheaper alternative for Xbox storage. You can move games seamlessly back-and-forth between the hard drive and the external hard drive. Big games (100gb+) take maybe 10 minutes to move over. 

This external hard drive is a great addition to my Xbox one x system. Easy install, a lot of storage. Easy management. Its also a lot cheaper then the memory card that plugs in to the back of the Xbox console.

This is a good hard drive plenty of space and the green light bar is a nice tough but the bad thing is that any of my series X games can not be playable from this hard drive because it’s not fast enough which is really stupid but that’s how Microsoft and all the game companies get you to spend more money
