Q: Can I use it to back up files on my pc?
A: Yes. Although, you may have to reformat it first.
Q: Is this drive compatible with Windows 11?
A: Yes. You may need to reformat as exFat or NTFS first. Unless you need compatibility with another operating system NTFS is the way to go. You can format it right from Windows Explorer.
A: No, as long as it was downloaded to the system previously it will transfer to the device. The only issue would be the size of the game and the transfer time. And you wont be able to play during the transfer.
Q: Will this work with a Dell gaming laptop?
A: Yes It should, but you will need to reformat the HD to work with a PC instead of an Xbox X. Should provide lots of storage for a PC gaming PC

Works great
This external gaming hard drive is a must-have. Setup was quick, transfer speeds are fast, and I can play games directly from it with no lag. The storage capacity is perfect for my growing library, and the design looks great with my setup. Highly recommend for any gamer needing extra space!

Very good overall quality and 100% worth it.
I got this external hard drive for my xbox series s and I am very happy with it. I play a lot of games and most of them are over 50gbs like cod cold war which is 150gbs. I have 53 games on it and i still have over 1 tb left unused. It might not be a good as a ssd but transferring game from it to my internal storage or vise versa is very fast I was able to transfer cod cold war in about 30 to 40 minutes with transfer speeds up to 1tb. that much faster than having to install the game which can take an entire day. Plus getting 4tbs for only $120 is a very good deal and its better than paying up to $300 for a 1tb ssd. I only keep the game that i"m currently playing on my internal ssd especially game that are optimised for the series x/s and game that have long load times like red dead 2.

Works well most use cases, there is one issue!!!
If you are looking for more stroage for your xbox series s to play some older Xbox, 360, and xbox one hames then this is perfect. HOWEVER if you are looking to upgrade storage for the Xbox Series S for next gen games, you will be out of luck as most games require you to play them on the internal hard drive. You will need to buy an SSD expansion for half the price of the console, which IMO is not worth it. This wont allow you to play multiple next gen games, so youll have to keep like 3-4 games you use most on the SSD.
