Once that was accomplished, my AppleTV could not identify it. I made two requests to the company for help. Both were responded to with “We’re here to help” responses that dumped me back into their knowledge base, where I had already spent quite some time looking for the answer to my question: “How do I pair this remote with an AppleTV device that already had another remote previously paired?” Sorry, no help available. Also, no live chat, only AI chat, and no phone number to call someone to ask how they could help. This is a pretty pricey device to have no live support. I only gave it one stat because I couldn’t give it zero and still write a review.

Good concept but issa no for me

However, I really didn’t like the slow responsiveness of the touchscreen, and the keyboard, while a great feature for entering search text, wasn’t that good. I returned it.

I really love the size and feel of the Sevenhugs, but unfortunately can't even get it set up to work. Using Android 10 (Samsung Galaxy S10) I get through the initial set up and end up with a white blank screen with no buttons or tabs to select to add my components. SO basically the remote is completely worthless since I can only add things through the app, and not online on a PC like Logitech. I will wait a week hoping they will update the app, only because I love the physical aspect of the remote. At this point, I am very disappointed in this $130 worthless remote.

This does not happen on all Samsung Galaxy S10 with Android 10, we have identified this happening only on specific version numbers. Then I came across this guy at Best Buy and was blown away. Point and click to program anything IR in your home and scans the network for WiFi and Bluetooth devices. Great UI, nothing better on the market and finally an excellent alternative to Logitech, and cheaper!

Wait on a new model that’s been vetted and proven to work. When the solution is delete and redo to solve the issue and it doesn’t actually solve the issue you’re not ready to release the product. Great idea but poor execution unfortunately. Lastly, the lack of timely support is disrespectful. Paying $349 for a remote and there’s no sense of urgency towards support is highly disrespectful. If this is worth $349 I’m making one myself. Thanks for the motivation. Zero stars
