Can't process without update. Submitted ticket, no response. Searched online support for error, no response to those either. Most likely an update server that is down? It is absolutely connected to my wifi, and wifi is working well. Looks like the error eventually goes away (probably after the update server was fixed). To get a product that you can't even use out of the box is totally unacceptable. Returning now for the harmony elite.

After several failed attempts of trying to sign on I got stuck in a loop of "searching for network" which I could not get out of. With no back button or power button there was nothing I could do. So after 2 hours of it still stuck in this loop I emailed customer support for help. It took over 3 WEEKS before I got a response from them. Needless to say I had already sent back the remote for a refund before then.

Take it out of the box, set it up, and it works great for about a month. After that it no longer stays connected to my Apple TV. I have reset it to factory settings more times that I’d care to admit, and it *always* loses connection to the Apple TV within a day. It became such a pain in the butt to use that I ordered a Function 101 Remote instead and that works much better. I wish I would have never wasted $200 on this remote.

I like how the remote feels in the hands and the interface. I wish they add more options to customize the remote like disable the vibration every time you press a button. But overall this a great product that I will recommend to friends and family.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i was so excited to buy this remote after my dog chewed through both my tv & soundbar remote. it claims to connect to thousands of devices, yet my three year old samsung smart tv + my LG soundbar that's less than a year old would NOT connect no matter what i tried. sevenhugs customer support is poor in the fact that the only way to contact them is through email (i just wish there had been a way to call & talk to someone). overall, i decided to return this to look for something else.

This remote is the best universal remote I have ever used. This one is a lot smaller then most remotes but once you get used to it size you see how great it is. It is so much better then that other brand.

Didnt work with my Samsung TV

Posted .Hi Josh, thanks a lot for sharing your feedback here. Smart Remote needs to be in line of sight with devices that are controlled via infrared. If this is not possible with your setup, we usually recommend adding an IR repeater to be able to control devices behind a cabinet with your Smart Remote.

Will turn into a brick 6/1/22

The best part is they will no longer work at all after 6/1/22. From the FAQ on the SevenHugs website: What will happen beyond June 1st 2022? Your Smart Remote will no longer be able to control your devices and services.
