Very satisfied with this remote. I have tried other smart remotes with no real success. The seven hugs remote integrates well with my smart devices and the set up was seamless. User friendly as well, as my wife and daughter can pick it up and use it freely. I have not really used the point mode feature as of yet, but plan to. Overall, very good product.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this remote. All the hype and what it says it does and supposedly how many new devices it can now control is bogus. I have had nothing but issues trying to set up certain devices. I find out now that although Best Buy says it works with Nest, SevenHugs and Nest no longer work together. Also I just purchased the Bowers & Wilkens Formation soundbar and found out that it does not work with that either. That is a higher end soundbar and it isn't compatible. As for support, if you like dealing through email and I don't, then go at it. You can't call a support number to get help. They said that they will schedule a call but they seem to prefer going through email. Ring and Nest support are head and shoulders above any support that this company provides. I hate waiting for answers and then they give you links to show you how to connect certain devices. If I wanted that I can go to the Internet and search. I want easy support and to be able to get help when I need it. Not an email with links. I have the X and I provided them with my serial number and model number and I asked if it could control more than 1 room. They wanted to know if I had the X or U. Again, through email and now I wait for a response. They couldn't tell by the model and serial number I sent them? Any way even Best Buy employees have NO CLUE how to use this or set it up and I believe it is sold only through Best Buy. Training stinks and I would think that Best Buy would be able to help but I guess that is asking too much. A $300 remote and it can't do what you want or can't get help setting up except possibly through email (no weekends either because obviously weekends everyone must work) and no one to talk to or help you set up your devices. Extremely disappointing and I believe not at all what is said in the description. Not recommended at this time. No Alexa or Google compatibility either. Oh well... I guess it may be Logitech Harmony or several remotes.

Returning immediately would hate to get stuck with such an expensive fail. Quality packaging and device. Feels like no expense was spared in design and manufacture of the device itself. Did not allow more than basic compatibility with very well known brands and models. Anything more than turning up volume or changing channels will require original remote. Only thing that this seemed to control well was devices that can be controlled via bluetooth. Such as Fire Stick, Apple TV, NVDIA Shield. It is evident that support and further growth stopped months ago. For our TVs LG OLED77CX and OLED65CX their were not specific device controls, just a general LG OLED TV control. This is no better than a $40 universal remote. Just like all of these universal remote, they get somethings right but ALWAYS lack in control of some area. At $300+ this unit should blow our socks back or at least have a deeper control and compatibility than other much cheaper options.

Actually technology is great, set up was super easy, just to small for us.

Got this remote recently, and within 30 minutes I had it set up, scenes set and ready to use! That has a downloadable app to use with it that makes it very easy to set everything up one, two, three! I would recommend this highly!

My Logitech remote was starting to have issues and I wanted to see if there was something better, since I hadn't bought a Smart Remote in a few years. The adding and setting up of devices is not good. My receiver model isn't listed in their supported devices and I had to add a different model. The list of available buttons, on every device, is lacking. I had to use the learn infrared commands functions a lot. With my old Logitech, the models and buttons were way more complete. Since my receiver was new, I had to go back and add it to my Logitech (which I had already replaced with sevenhugs) and then learn buttons and inputs that weren't on the sevenhugs. I'm fairly knowledgeable with tech, but, this remote had me feeling like a novice. And, yes, I contacted sevenhugs support and had a running email with them for several days. Their support folks were a big help. But, honestly, I should never have needed that much help in the first place. I'm actually still slugging through some of the setup and button customization. Which also has a limitation that popped up during customizing. Something about only being allowed 10 custom screens or something. Anyway, if I hadn't been so stubborn about it and kept trying to get it done, I would have returned it and just bought a Logitech again. I really can't recommend this remote yet.

This company is out of business now, but the product is decent...not great. No instructions included that detail how to really program the remote in depth. Also, the display is so small that you end up hitting buttons you didn't intend on pressing. Otherwise, it controls a lot of products nicely, including my wi-fi lightbulbs, but not my Govee light strip.

Pleasantly surprised by the smaller size as compared to your average size remote control. The Sevenhugs remote looks very classy cosmetically adding a nice taste to your AV system

Does it all - and with style! Well designed unit to control home theater and smarthome devices. Manufacturer is constantly updating/adding features. Remote feel really good in hand. Requires some research to take advantage of all of the features.

The remote is small in form factor and the print size on the screen is really small and not well lit. You need to locate the remote and its three satellite disks appropriately to ensure accuracy of the remote use, otherwise you will constantly be pushing the screen to control or correct your equipment. My remote is constantly not powering on/off various components (TV/Stereo/Media) correctly. If one of the units does not power on/off, the remote has a repair function that is confusing. All in all, due to the remote being small, print functions small and constantly having to readjust function to get device to power, I would not purchase this remote. Programming can be challenge on your phone and does take some time if you have a lot of devices you need to control. Buy a remote with buttons and a screen that is readable and property lighted

Was hesitant about this remote due to the fact it was so new. But, that’s out the window. Great remote, easy to set up!

It is a control different from what I have seen in the market, you have to get used to the way it works, but at the end of the day it does its job.

I bought this to replace a Harmony remote. This remote is easy to set up but the buttons are small on the screen. Battery life could be better. Hope that it gets updated soon with the ability to add buttons that go directly to DIrect TV channels

I am not going to write a long review. After I purchased this device I read some the reviews and just want to shadow some of the other reviews. Yes this device in this state is very limited it also is limited on what it can do when not connected

Awesome device. Easy to setup and use. I now replaced all of my remotes with one remote.

So out of the box this wouldn't send IR signals to my stereo and projector, and support was great in helping me debug that, but in the end I decided to go with something else because the remote felt small, and a little fragile.

While it's sleek and has a cool interface, it's sometimes sketchy to get it to work. I contacted sevenhugs support and they were not very helpful. Do yourself a favor and skip this purchase. It's extremely over priced too.

It's very easy to program, and really easy to operate.

I'm giving it a star because when it works, it's fine. But I've had 3 universal remotes now: Logitech's, Caavo's, and Sevenhugs. This is the remote that I absolutely could not get behind. I caved today and bought another logitech because I'm just so DONE with it. It looks slick. It FEELS slick, but it's buggy as can be. Half of the time it won't connect to the app and adding devices is a pain. Worse than adding devices with Logitech, and THAT remote is a pain. On the actual device you 'scroll' through devices to get to what you want. This in practice sounds nice on paper but is a nightmare to actually do. Want to go from your amazon fire tv to roku but have several other devices to scroll through? Too bad. You got to go through them all. It's not simply 'point and click' like Caavos or Logitech. There are also instances where I'll get something programmed correctly only for the remote to not work the next day. The remote is also way too small. To put it into perspective I am a little person. I have little person hands. Tiny hands. This remote was too tiny for even my teeny tiny hands. The amounts of misclicks I've had...I lost count ages ago. To put the final nail in the coffin the company itself has been bought out. They did maybe one or two firmware updates since I've had it, but there's very little support on the site. Avoid this remote. It's pretty, but empty inside and full of bugs.
