This remote is so easy to set up. The step by step instructions on the app and remote are simple and easy. This remote can do so much straight out of the box from controlling my tv, streaming box, and xbox to controlling my smart home devices too. Even better, sevenhugs is always taking customer input and working to add even more uses to the remote. my experience with the remote and the sevenhugs team has been absolutely amazing.

I’ve had both of Logitech’s best remotes over the last 5yrs... the Harmony Elite and Ultimate. Sevenhugs ability to be customized on a decent sized touchscreen made all the difference. I can control my TV, cable, soundbar, Blu-ray, Apple TV, and Nvidia Shield without even using the included hubs. Finally I was able to declutter my living room.

I was impressed with the database of devices this remote can connect to with any issues. No issues in setting up connections to my TV, receiver, SONOS, and lights. It takes some time initially to figure out how TV and Home scenes work, but it works perfectly and provides lot of flexibility to create custom options. It also replaces older remotes where you have to rely on someone to make changes each time you want to add a different experience. Finally, I found their customer service exception - they were very responsive email and provided detailed explained and showed patience to resolve questions raised. I highly recommend it.

This was one of the best investments I have made, the technology is terrific, the unit and its accessories are well constructed. Easy to set up, very intuitive. Operates everything I have, great quality. Cleaned up a lot of clutter, my wife loves me! Highly recommended.

I bought this remote through Kickstarter and use this to manage my television, soundbar, apple tv, google fiber, my Hue lightbulbs, and my next thermostat. I love being able to control all of my gadgets with one remote and it always works. My 7 year old will hide my Apple TV remote, and my Google Fiber remote only works half the time. My Smarthugs remote works perfectly all the time!!

Finally a universal remote that looks good, holds a charge, is easy to program, had a responsive touch screen, intuitive UI, and so much more. As far as I'm concerned Harmony remotes get uglier and uglier and their UI sucks. The only 2 complaints I have are: Their should be more emphasis on programming using the model number of your device, the process is actually easier but the button to do it is tiny Trouble shooting should suggest pauses between devices when starting scenes. The only issue I had with programming was resolved by adding a 1 sec pause before starting the TV. Overall an excellent product!

I bought this remote because I wanted something that was easier for my kids to use. We have an older sound system so they would always struggle with selecting the right audio and video inputs. Turns out it’s easier for me to use too. Added our TV, Apple TV, sound system and linked up the boys’ X-Box. Now everything gets selected and turned on with a single touch. I even used the app to customize the controls to be easier for them to use (less options) and I have their favorite TV channels saved as presets.

So I decided to get this after my Logitech Harmony reset itself for the umpteenth time and finally just wouldn't respond anymore after only two years. I really enjoy the SevenHugs remote. It works really well and was really easy to set up. I'm still learning how to program the custom mixes of buttons in the app, but after two weeks of use we really enjoy it. We're using it for Samsung UHD TV, DirectTV, Pioneer Elite AV Receiver, and Samsung UHD Blue Ray player.

Love this remote. Always like to get new tech, if I had seen on Kickstarter would have contributed to the effort! It has replaced 4 remotes! Simple to program, when I purchased didn't even realize you could customize. It is small so you have to pay attention when you are making a selection. All in all it is amazing!

Great looking design and that's all. Short battery life: fully charged remote battery drained to 0% without any usage from 6am to 6pm..... Many devices produced in 2008 not compatible either at all (Denon media streaming network player) or partially (Pioneer Elite Blu-Ray, Marantz CD player, Yamaha Amplifier (not the receiver). Latest Apple TV volume Up and Down buttons not recognized. Only Samsung TV and Samsung sound bar worked well and LIFX, TP-LINK smart devices. Weather feature NOT enabled yet. For $300 plus taxes I would expect more completed working device.

I have been using the Sevenhugs Smart Remote a couple of months and I can’t imagine going back to fumbling between 2 or 3 remotes ever again. There are a couple of minor glitches that I’m certain will be remedied in the next update, but I sincerely believe this remote is revolutionary. This is the future of remotes.

I remember first reading about this remote in 2016. I was super excited. It lives up to my expectations two years later. Easy to set up for someone who understands minimal electronics. Does exactly what is advertised with no issues. Completely satisfied!!!!

I've been dying to try this smart remote! It's super easy to add all your connected devices (NEST, Apple TV, Hue lights, Sonos, etc...). Really simple to use. Just point at a device and the controls appear. This remote made my Hue lights SOOOO much easier to use. I would recommend this.

Easy to use and easy to set up. Even works as a Bluetooth remote for my FireTV sticks!

The app and customization are two top reasons I would use this remote. I use it in my office every day to control my fans, window AC unit, smart tv, speakers everything that I have four or five remotes I used to use. This thing is great!

I purchased this so everyone in my family could manage all of my home theater devices, none of which were purchased together nor were well-integrated. It handles all of them with great ease, even two rooms’ worth. It has greatly simplified things for everyone.

This remote is one of the simplest remotes I have every used. I have used everything from Sony to Logitech and even newer products like the Neeo. This controls my Hue lights, LG TV, Xbox, Nvidia Shield and my receiver. It is a simple interface and you can create scenes for your rooms, which I love. One very noticeable thing is that it is also extremely fast compared to my other universal remotes. Great product.

Like that it controls all of my devices. Only one complaint is that it has issues with LIFx bulbs. Otherwise so far works great. Nice to have only one remote to control everything including bluetooth devices like AppleTV.

Out of the box it quickly navigated to my network but due to some problems with its software not upgrading I couldn’t use it for about 48 hours - sent an email and in less than 2 hours I had a solution and was up and running fast!! This thing is amazing. If you lose it in the cushion it doesn’t push buttons like other streaming device remotes or cable/dsl remotes. I guess the outcome is two parts - customer service is FAST and helpful and when I started emailing back and forth with Annie it’s like texting. Second the remote is awesome - it integrates with Amazon and Google devices seamlessly. I can lock my doors turn the thermostat all lights are automatically put in if there is a hub. This remote finds all of the devises.

Maybe they'll figure this out some day. I am returning because I can't control the DirecTV HR44 box (which is in another room) with this tool. They don't provide any sort of IR repeater, and the don't connect to DirecTV via my household network. Net of that, it simply won't work for me. Yep, sure, I could set up my own repeater but for the price, given there are two ways Sevenhugs could have solved this problem, I don't feel that makes a lot of sense. Back I go (grumbling all the way) to roomie remote. Sevenhugs would do well to stop assuming that all the boxes it will control are somehow in the same room with the TV. That is definitely not my wife's decorating preference, so I work hard to avoid that. It is also a bit cramped, IMO. One uses a remote control with human eyes and hands. This thing is tiny and feels a bit cheap. It doesn't seem any easier to set up than the alternatives, particularly given that you've got to download a mobile app and pair it in order to get configuration choices that could be on the device itself.
