First off, this is my first time buying a robot vac/mop of anything kind. I have a Dyson handheld vacuum that I love but with WFH and 2 dogs my floors require daily vacuuming and mopping. Anyway, I got this Shark AI Robot VACMOP because I was excited about the sonic mopping. I bought the VacMop on Wednesday after having it in my cart for several days. I got it home and let it charge over night. The next morning I downloaded the app, I let it "explore" my 650 sf apartment 3 times because the maps it kept giving me were terrible. Finally it started the "carpet detection" exploration of my home. After an hour of VERY noisy vacuuming of my entire place it went back to its dock and did not store any of the carpet info! I have carpet in my bedroom and 1 area rug. I waited for it to charge to 70% and tried again, second round, it only did an exploration of my living room and said "no carpet detected" I was so annoyed. I reset the robot to factory settings to start over again and after doing so it took me 2 hours to reconnect it to my wifi. I restarted my modem, restarted my router, deleted the app, turned off the robot and turned it back on. FINALLY! It connected...I let it sit on its dock and every time I checked the battery level on the app it reduced by 5%! I checked it after finally connecting and it was at 85%, checked it 20 minutes later and the batter was at 70% checked again 5 minutes later and the batter was at 65%. I called customer support, SILENCE. I knew the risks of buying something that was this new but I figured, Shark has other robot vacs, this can't be much different. Needless to say, after all that, I never even got to try the mopping feature because this bot needs to do a map exploration and a carpet detection exploration before you can use the mopping feature. It was returned yesterday, Thursday, and I got the Deepot Ozmo T5 instead. I hope you all will have a better experience than I did, maybe mine was a lemon but I will not be buying any Shark or Ninja products going forward.

I just returned this product today. I had it for 2 weeks, and really tried to give it a chance to do well. The pros: the AI is pretty good with avoid objects. The cons: the robo mop had issues connecting to the app, making it pointless. It sounds like a lawnmower, not as loud, but it’s pretty loud compared to the other self emptying Shark robo vac I have. The cleaning solution had to be refilled multiple times just to finish a cleaning. Wasn’t worth the money or the aggravation. I also called customer support, and they were rude and unhelpful. That was the last straw with that unit.

Excellent robovac for the money. Great vacuum for maintenance cleaning. Mop works great as well for light duty maintenance cleaning. Have had no issues with mapping or getting stuck. Applied carpet zones and high traffic zones both work excellent and impressed how accurate it is. The AI object avoidance works very well. I have lots of Xmas decorations around the house at the moment and this guy navigates around it without smashing into them. Impressive to watch. Very happy with purchase. Glad I saved money with this was going to get deebot t8 with bin but decided to try this one and glad I did.

Loving it, needs a little more work on the app to get exact carpet measurements though. Also when going into port, the charger dislodges and does not always charge. Sure we can apply double sided tape. Performance wise great.

Very happy with this purchase. I have a bad back so this is a god send for me personally. I do wish it mopped a little better but it does a good enough job. Was a pain to set up but once I got through that I’ve had no issues

I been using it every single night, It doesn’t mop very well, I have to refill the tank once to finish the cleaning. because one tank is not enough to clean the first floor of my home has to be 2 at least which btw is not a big house. but still a pretty good toy to maintain your home clean.

The sweep brushes have one brush instead of three so it doesn't pick up fast enough. The water tank is too small. The roller stopped working within 1 week. Broke too fast.

Bought this to clean my floors in my new home. This unit creates a map that it will follow to both vacuum and if you want mop the floor. When it is done it goes back to the charger pad. I was able to score a really good deal on this .

This worked fine for the first month, and when iI say fine I mean "okay". Its nothing amazing and within 2 months it started to spin in circles and say it needs to be moved. I went through a number of troubleshooting from Shark and on Youtube and nothing helps. It jams up way too easy, a bit of pet hair and it thinks its full. If youre getting something like this Id either go cheaper as our knock off brand that was $100 is still going strong, or go more expensive and not Shark.

Very good vacuum and mop. Has good power to pick up some heavier items but not everything. Was surprised how well the mop works. Does not leave a huge wet mess. Score!

Unfortunately this product only last me 13 months and stopped working after that. At least for me it didn’t work. I have an iRobot and it’s working longer than the shark.

Just what we were looking for! Have been wanting one of these robot cleaners. We have 3 dogs two are very hairy. This has worked awesome for us!

Super easy to set up. Mapped out entire floor plan quickly and is very efficient. Wife had been wanting one for a long time, and was beyond excited this Christmas!

Mi house now looks clean everyday. Mops great and even dries fast making the floor shine (that was not easy when I mopped) And yes vacuums floor and carpets.

Clean very well... This is my third robo vacuum and it's the best one. Clean very well carpet, wood floors and tile

Great product only downfall is the size of the cleaning solution reservoir. Needs to be refilled after cleaning one room and rooms arent very large even with using the eco setting.

I think that it could be a little better at mopping and have bigger storage thing for the moping liquid also making the storage thing bigger for the vacuum

I returned this in a few weeks. It vacuumed ok but didn't get corners or under th me couches at all. The mop feature is a joke and just left dirty streaks all over my house. It was loud and gave my dog anxiety. After a few weeks it wouldn't work and I called customer service. It needed an update so I followed the instructions and then it still would not work. I called customer service again and got someone I would not understand. I finallu figured out the problem, told her that i would call back if I couldn't resolve it. She continued to ask questions and i had to forcefully say that i figured it out and basically hang up on her. It wasn't worth the money so it went back.

This robot vacuum is not worth the money. I’ve had to reset it 4 times and if it’s not in a stationary spot just rotating in a circle it only stays in one section of one room. I’ve set the pattern, I’ve erased it, I’ve reset factory settings, I’ve erased the app and redownloaded it….it doesn’t even pick anything up and now it it moves maybe 2 feet and turns red and says to look on the bottom for an obstruction?? There is nothing there anywhere even after emptying the bin of essentially a few crumbs?

It does make life easier not having to come home after work and sweep every day. The mopping feature needs work though. Nearly every time it mops half the house and then stops, sends a notification saying error contact support.
