Q: My ai vacmop pro does not get wet Can someone explain why
A: Did you ever get this figured out or fixed? Mine just started doing the same thing. The pad is not getting wet and it's not using the cleaning solution at all. No error messages or anything like that. It's running and vacuuming, moving the pad back and forth like normal but not using the liquid and actually mopping. I have only ever used the Shark vacmop solution. I looked at the connections and they are not blocked or obstructed. Had a bunch of problems with this thing, since right after we got it. Should've returned it. I've had to factory reset and remap more times than I can count. After a few good runs, it just wouldn't work. It'd start then mop a 3 ft by 6 ft random area over and over like five times then go back to the dock. Finally got it working again and now this.
A: Yes it vacuums and mops at the same time, setup (mapping) can be a little frustrating and for the mopping it’s best to have a route that doesn’t have carpet in the way.
A: We would like to let you know that this unit does not use steam and can safely be used on all sealed hard floors, stone, hardwood, vinyl, laminate, tile, marble, and linoleum.
A: I just got my vac mop today and mines not even giving me an option to do a carpet detection run
A: We would like to let you know that this Robot also works to vacuum carpets.
Q: What is the capacity of the dust bin in liters?
A: We would like to let you know that the Dust bin capacity for the Shark - Shark® AI Robot VACMOP™ is 0.27 Quarts.
A: We would like to let you know that the Shark - Shark® AI Robot VACMOP™ PRO R201WD with Sonic Mopping, cannot map more than one level of a home. You can still use the unit on another level by manually moving the Robot to that level then when done or the Robot needs to charge you would need to manually put the Robot on the Dock. This will not effect the mapping the Robot has done.
A: Just So you know you can connect a cheap router with 2.4ghz to your current one through the LAN ports on the back giving your cheap router with 2.4 GHz wifi internet access. Or you can buy a cheap wifi extender that has 2.4ghz that connects to your current network configuration giving your robot mop wifi. This works with my configuration at home.
