Works good Everything that could be expected for a robotic vacuum

I’ve had a number of robot vacuums and I just assumed this one would be the same - it would roam endlessly around the house, get stuck on the smallest obstacles, and constantly get plugged up with hair and debris. I am glad that I was wrong. This robot vacuum is the best I’ve seen. Setup is straight forward, using the app, the Shark maps your house allowing you to setup rooms, high-traffic areas, and no-go zones. Be sure to pick up everything you can on the floor to get the best map. After that, set a schedule to clean or use the app to clean certain zones, rooms, or spot clean specific areas. The Shark is great at going to the area you specifying and the cleaning pattern makes sense (back and forth instead of zig zagging everywhere). The robot cleans really well and is quieter than other robot vacuums I’ve used. And the ability to have the base station vacuum the vacuum is awesome. No more daily emptying of the collection bin. There are just a few issues/wishes I have found with this vacuum: * When spot cleaning, if you try to adjust the spot cleaning area in the app, it doesn’t work. The spot doesn’t change. You have to send the vacuum back to the base and start again to change the spot clean location. * I wish you could specify certain rooms or zones to clean when setting up a schedule. Right now, it just cleans the whole house and only one schedule allowed per day. Hopefully these abilities will be added to the app eventually. Overall, I highly recommend this robot vacuum. It does the best job cleaning and has the most customizations and abilities.

Writing this review to alert potential buyers to avoid this product. The "intelligent" portion of this product is the core of the problem. This model has a defective Wi-Fi receiver that stops working days/weeks after initial configuration. Therefore this product cannot clean according to the map as promised, nor remember cleaning cycles or have remote initiations. The problems seem to be recurring to many customers as with a simple online search you can find many users suffering with the same issues. Please avoid this product or if you decide to take a risk please buy an extended warranty to cover for this problem.

I am impressed with the robot vacuum so far! The noise level isn't bad, not too loud, it mapped the house quickly, and was super easy to set up and connect to the app and wifi. I have had other Shark vacuums and have always been happy with them, this one is great as well! I love the self emptying bin feature so you don't have to empty the dust bin all the time. I have a cat and there is a lot of fur. It's great to see this vacuum do it's job, go back to it's base, empty it's bin and then continue to work. So awesome, it's a great feature. It cleans very well and gets into spaces you wouldn't think it would even try, and gets itself out of those spaces! It transitions from hard floor to carpet easily. If you've been considering getting a robot vacuum I highly recommend this one.

Very sloppy product for a flagship. I have owned multiple robots from other companies. And this is by far the most inferior robot ever. Map takes 1 full day to even register. You are not able to see the robot in action in real time unlike other robot apps. You can only schedule one time for automation. It is also very sloppy when it comes to cleaning. Leaves a lot of small particulate on the floor. You really need to watch this robot and rerun just to do a decent job. At this price point, I expect an impeccable job and seamless automation.

Its Vacuuming very well but it takes two time to vacuum the whole area mopping is just draws wet line thats about it. Over all its fine for its price.

Once you get past the initial frustration of creating an account, this is an excellent robot vacuum. Let’s start with that setup process. Setup is done through the mobile app, except I found that once I had created my account, it told me no such account existed, then when I tried to create it again, the app told me the account was already in use. Rinse, lather, repeat. I finally got the account to work by going to the website. While the website recognized my new account, it did not accept the correct password. I reset the password through the website, then used the new password in the app. This was a frustrating runaround that took nearly half an hour. Once setup is complete, you can start using the vacuum, but it will want to map your home first. Using this map, you can select problem spots that you want it to pay special attention to using a more powerful suction setting. If it gets stuck, you can use the map to locate it. And, if there’s a specific problem, like a spill, you can send it straight to that room. Once you do start vacuuming you’ll notice how quiet it is. It’s so quiet in normal mode that if it’s under a bed, I have to check to see if it’s still working. It navigates the house very well, with large wheels that help if climb over uneven surfaces like rugs with ease and a laser guidance system that steers it around obstacles. Note that even with the lasers, it will still bump into things like table legs. Cleaning is where this unit really shines. We have two large dogs in a small house, and the loose hair accumulates quickly. I first used it after our house had been hand-vacuumed 24 hours earlier with a Dyson Animal, and the Shark picked up a lot of dog hair. When the Shark is done, there is no visible dirt or hair except in corners. When its internal basket is full, it returns to the docking station and empties itself out (the only loud part of the process). After emptying, it resumes cleaning. While Shark says “up to 60 days” between emptying the cleaning bin, with the aforementioned dogs I found it to be a few days. The brushes are designed to avoid getting hair wrapped around them and so far, they do an excellent job. The WiFi connection was very simple and works well. You can control the unit using the app from anywhere you have a connection. So, if you want the house vacuumed before you get home, just press the button in the app. This is a great unit, and I highly recommend it.
