Good vacuum but it’s very heavy and with multiple floors it was too much to bring up and down the stairs. Would be a great vacuum for someone with one floor in their house.

Duocleans have always been my fave, but this one i thought was the lift away that would be able to lift & take off the dust bin & use

The roller brush gets clogged up frequently and has to be removed to be cleaned. It specifies great if you have pets but you have to keep taking the roller and clean it. Heavy and bulky, not easy to vacuum. Got to say this is the worst vacuum I have ever purchased.

We have been using this vacuum for a week and are very pleased! The vacuum features robust suction capabilities, effectively accommodating both laminated and carpeted flooring through its floor detection technology. As advertised, the vacuum adjusts its suction based on the floor it has detected beneath it. We are cat owners, and love that it can brush and suck up the cat hair on our laminated floors. As advertised, no hair has gotten caught up in the rollers. While being a powerful vacuum the scent of the Odor Neutralizer Technology is very recognizable as you can smell the pleasant scent of the cartridge while you are vacuuming. We also like the fact that the vacuum has powerful LED lights to help you see where you are going in low lit areas as it will grab everything in its path if you aren’t watching closely. Just ask the blanket that I got too close to. 😊 The dirt cannister is clear so that you can see when it’s full and what is being picked up and it easily detaches and re-connects for disposal of the debris. The unit itself is light weight and agile and easily locks back into place in the upright position and goes back down with your foot holding it in place. It comes with several attachments, but we do feel its best use is vacuuming various floor types. Overall, we could not be more pleased with the results of this powerful vacuum and would recommend it for anyone with or without pets.

Vacuum is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Powerful suction and picks up everything on my carpet and rugs. The detachable hose is very convenient for ease of use on my steps so I don’t have carry the entire vacuum down each step while cleaning. The 3 settings are great for hardwood floors, low carpet and high carpet. I use the high carpet setting for my carpets and rugs and the hardwood floor setting for picking up crumbs in my kitchen. The deodorizing disc gives off a fresh cleaning scent throughout the entire house. The vacuum also has a sensor that picks up dirty carpet spots using the dual brush rolls for a deep clean. The dirt chamber detaches from the main unit and can be emptied from the top or the bottom. I’d say the only thing that I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t sound like your normal vacuum. It’s more of a deeper slightly lowered sound than a normal vacuum. It’s not deal breaker though as it does everything else so well. One of the best vacuums I ever owned. Shark products are reliable and are products you can always rely on for quality and performance.

With 2 children under the age of 3 and 2 small dogs, vacuums are a necessity in my home. So, when looking for a vacuum I’m always searching for a model that can withstand daily use and hold up over a long period of time. Shark is a vacuum brand I am very familiar with, having owned many different versions over the last few years. I was excited to get my hands on this year’s Detect Pro Lift Away model to see what improvements they’ve made! Out of the box setup is always a breeze with Shark. It comes with clear instructions, but it’s always a logical assembly with their products. What struck me immediately was the new green color of the vacuum. It’s a sharp and rich color that gives the vacuum a little bit more of a sophisticated look from previous models. The weight of the vacuum is just right, not too heavy and not too light. I popped in the included scent neutralizer and off we went! First time use of the vacuum is straight forward. There’s a knob on the unit itself to change the different type of modes with the vacuum, which is different than previous models I’ve owned where the settings are on the handle. There is a detect mode which we’ll get into shortly and a hardwood floor, area rug and thick rug setting. The initial feeling of the vacuum itself is that it glides very smooth across the floor. Some vacuums feel labored, this one has a nice push and pull feeling too it. The vacuum will adjust its power when you are pushing and pulling it to work just as strong in reverse as going forward! The detect setting utilizes sensors underneath the vacuum to be able to tell the difference between styles of flooring but also detecting dirt and other debris and adjusting the suction accordingly. The vacuum can also detect when you’re up against a corner and adjust suction as well! Testing this feature out I found it to be very responsive and pretty intuitive. Usually corners and baseboards are tough to get to but I found the extra suction helped to really pick up the dust it needed to! The vacuum also has the ability to “lift-away” from the base unit to clean stairs, upholstery or blinds. It does come with a few attachments like a anti allergen dust style attachment for blinds, a crevice tool, and a pet attachment. The one attachment that is missing from previous years models is the powered pet attachment. They have it for sale on the website but I feel that should have been included! The vacuum also has a 99.99% percent Anti Allergen complete seal with a Hepa filter. The filter is easy to clean by just running it through water and allowing it to dry. Overall, the vacuum has done a great job so far! It’s always humbling to use your vacuum when you think you have a clean home and then you see how much dirt these vacuums pull out of your couches and carpets. Shark is always a dependable brand that you can trust. If you’re looking for a solid vacuum that doesn’t break the bank and has the ability to detect floors and change settings as you go from room to room, this is the one you're looking for!

In comparison to other Shark models I've owned, this is easily the most powerful model I've used. True to claims, suction in every direction with extra power when needed/ detected. My home is mostly hard wood floors and laminate with a rug or two strewn about. With my last vacuum, you needed to manually adjust the floor type to get the best cleaning result. This model has an automatic floor detection, and it works. Not sure how, but it does. Seems minor, but it's nice to just keep going while the vac figures it out. On the kitchen and bathroom floors, the average cycle is cut in half due to the reverse suction. Once again, small but mighty feature. Cleaning light is very bright which makes it easy to spot dust hiding in plain sight. A negative compared to my last model is there is no light on the handle once detached. It came in handy, but not a deal breaker. The fragrance cartridge is a nice touch, but I'm hoping this isn't the solution for keeping smells out of the vacuum. That was a big issue with my last model, and this one claim to be able to avoid that issue. Only time will tell. The build is interesting. Not as heavy as my last build, but that helps when shuffling around. Lighter materials used in construction which I hope is not a sign of cost cutting. Feels sturdy, so once again, only time will tell. That being said, I do appreciate the 5-year warranty. So far, I'm very happy with this model. The sensors and multidirectional suction really do cut my cleaning time down and this vacuum has been able to handle anything I throw at it. It has all the attachments needed for dusting and deep cleaning; you just need to put forth the effort.
