Its not working after only 3 months. It gives an error message.. Please get the warranty, now i have to buy a new one

Stopped working properly after the 1st go. Traded it in for the iRobot. For a little more a much better product.

It does not give a detail cleaning. You will still need to sweep in the corner after.

This was an interesting experience, not at all what I expected. I was expecting the unit to be programmed to go by a specific route but instead its just a random thing that when it bumps into something it just randomly rotates and goes any way that it can. This does not work very well on our thicker style carpet but works really well on the hard floors. Make sure you move all chairs out of the way, basically make sure it has a clear path to do its thing. It connects to your wifi network and with the iOS or Android app installed you can setup a schedule or just have it start cleaning. My experience is that it needs a lot of baby sitting which kind of negates the whole point of a vacuum like this. I wouldn't feel confident letting it run amok unattended. It comes with 8 feet of boundary strip to keep it from going where you don't want it to go. It also has an extra filter and 4 extra side brushes.

This is my first ever automated,robot vacuum, and I can say that I am very happy with it. I have wanted one of these forever - I was always nervous that my dog would think it was one of her toys and ruin it before I had the chance to enjoy it. I just run it when I'm out running errands and she is in her cage, and I can say it is very nice to come home to a "clean" house. Not within out saying, there are some features that I wish this Shark has, that some of the higher end automated vacuums have (*cough* better navigation/mapping *cough*). There has been a few times that I have come home that I have found the Shark stuck under a table or chair and to watch it vacuum slightly gives me an anxiety, as it zig zags all over the place (I'm a straight lines vacuuming type of girl). But overall, I love this vacuum and it is a nice for between cleaning to keep the house tidier with the kids and the dogs and all their dirt. I just set it while I run out and when I come home, it's on its dock. I would recommend this for busy family as a way of lightening the load of house work.

at least, the robot vacuums are. This is my third robot vacuum over the years, and this one is the best at navigating the floor and finding its dock. It doesn't think that the dark border around my rug is a cliff. It climbs onto rugs without much trouble, and it ran over the rats nest of wires under my desk without getting tangled. It does a good job of picking up dog hair, and it is really easy to set up and schedule cleaning. A couple of things I didn't like -- it doesn't scream or complain or pop up an alert on my phone when it does get stuck. It tried to eat socks a couple of times. Also it doesn't seem to realize when the dust bin is full. It just keeps on cleaning and returns to the dock when it's done -- a couple of times the dustbin was jammed full of stuff, so I suppose it stopped cleaning? Not sure. I also think that using physical boundary strips is pretty low-tech. One of my previous vacuums mapped out the house so you could tell it where not to go. However, it's a good robot for the price. When you schedule it to run on a regular basis, it does a great job of eliminating dust and dog hair, and our house just feels cleaner.

Setup is easy. You remove it from the box, plug in the charging station, add 2 small brushes to the Shark, and place the Shark on the charging station for about 3 hours. During this time, you can download the android or ios app. The app is used to setup and control the Shark. We have a one story house with an area of about 1500 sq ft consisting of hardwood floors and rugs. I found the Shark very convenient for cleaning that area using both the app and verbal commands. Boundaries can be set so that the Shark doesn't run into cords or delicate objects. If you are looking for a low cost robot vacuum, I would recommend the Shark ION Robot vacuum. About the only negative is that apparently due to the cleaning algorithm, the entire area may not be covered in a single cleaning cycle. This is not a big issue since subsequent cycles seem to complete the area.

Pro: It does pick up stuff my other vacuum missed. Con: Has a hard time returning to dock, even within 2 feet. Takes 3-4x of the dock command before it even attempts to get there. Con: basically only meant for dust, hair, and tiny crumbs. Con: Absolutely no pattern when cleaning. Pretty sure it misses half my floor because of the way it bounces around. If this wasn't a very thoughtful Christmas present from my husband, I wouldve already returned it to find better.
