This unit does not come with any boundary borders like the old ones. They did make the filter bigger and reuseable.

this unit is ok when you’re at the house supervising this vacuum in action. it will get stuck under furniture. it is very noisy, but it does an ‘ok’ job.

Does anyone "need" a robotic vacuum? I'm sure one could argue how their life is so busy, they need it. Reality is, one buys this because it's fun. We have two dogs, both who take issue with clean floors. For as much hair as I've cleaned up over the years, I'm amazed how they still have any left on their bodies. While vacuuming isn't a daily task, it happens on a regular basis. Let's talk about the Shark. Everything is neatly packaged. Unbox everything, plug in the charger, snap the rotating brushes on and throw it on the charger. Shark includes plastic boundary strips that can be cut to fit your rooms. The manual gives good guidelines on how to place these - the obvious ones, stairs, lose cords/cables, etc. If a regular vacuum would pick it up so with the Shark. Once charged, it's just a matter of pressing the start button and the Shark gets to work. My wife and I stood arm in arm, watching our new family member bump into walls, get confused in corners and swerve down the hall - much like a drunk uncle. Eventually, she managed to make it into every room and fit places our normal vacuum doesn't - under the beds, under nightstands, etc. The Shark would sense the baseboards, slow down, pivot and move along. I was actually surprised how well it cleaned. I didn't go behind to see how much more I could pick up with a real vacuum, but I didn't feel it was necessary. It was able to clean 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms on a single charge. After charging it again, we brought it down to the main level of the house which is all tile and area rugs. It worked perfectly on the tile, getting the corners and typical hair collection spots. It did struggle with our thick area rug, but even a conventional vacuum requires a bit of effort. I can't say I was surprised and won't deduct any points. On the normal area rugs, it worked extremely well. All it all, this is a great time saver. Have it run during the day when you're at work or out running errands and come home to clean floors.

I put magnetic strips so the robot will not go to these areas but then it gets stuck to the strips. Useless! We cannot have the machine finish the job. Our friends have iRobot and they are very happy since the robot memorizes the area .This one doesn't .Actually it makes nothing but getting stuck in 5 minutes.

The shark is nice, however there are times when she gets stuck. It is best for hardwood floors.

Does fine in open spaces, but will often get stuck in rooms and misses areas. Returned

We got it about 6 weeks and used it once per week. First worked well then yesterday it stopped moving but kept spinning itself until we turned it off. We tried to clean it as instructed but still not worked. We don't have pets and we keep our house very clean so we don't think the Robot had to work too hard.

Thought it would be better. Seems to just go in circles. Doesn't cover the whole floor.

Not such a great product It goes in circles and misses a lot of tracks to where dirt still is

Terrible suction, kept getting lost along the walls, propeller popped off multiple times. You’ll spend more time chasing it down to fix it than it would take to just vacuum yourself.
