    LOVE THIS VACUUM!

My carpets and floors always look and feel clean now! Once you learn the areas where the bot will get stuck and fix them, I have no complaints except I wish it ran longer but hey..it is running off of a battery. I found it best to section my house off into 3 sections (you can do so with the "guard" material provided) and I let it clean 1 section at a time (my house is 1800+ square ft) so this option works the best for us until I can get another one! :)

    No suction

I was looking to upgrade to a robotic vacuum with a dock and after doing research I picked the shark ion 750. It was terrible on carpet. It wouldn't even pick up kitty litter. It brushed up cat hair but it appeared to have zero suction. And I had to pick all the hair out of the brush. My old original roomba that I found at goodwill works 110% better than this and picks up litter. I Did not try it on other floor types.

    Buy a Roomba

I got this to replace a Roomba that was was 8-10 years old. That old Roomba will run circles around the shark. The vacuum is stronger on the Roomba. The shark gets stuck a lot due to the 3 post that stick up on top. It doesn't work on navy blue carpet because it thinks its going to fall off of the edge that isn't there. It will go in circles under the dinning room chairs for 15-20 minutes because it can't figure out how to get out. Sometimes it will leave the base clean for a few minutes then go back to the base. I've had had it for 10 months and it's dead. I'm not going to waste my time fixing it . I'm going to buy a Roomba so I can go another 8-10 with out these problems.

I would NOT recommend this product for one reason.....the company does not stock any parts for this unit at all. If something breaks, you are just gonna be out of luck. I have found no other place that offers parts for the V 750 either....Good Luck!

    Worthless

My house has laminate floors, a few throw rugs, and two dogs that shed like crazy. An automated vacuum cleaner sounded like a great help in keeping the mess down. The vacuum was easy to set-up, WiFi and all and the first two cleanings went great. The third use is when this vacuum started showing how cheaply made it is. The brushroll is supported by a rubber cap with a brass bearing in it. A few strands of dog hair managed to work their way into this bearing and caused it to heat up so much the rubber melted and rendered the vacuum useless. I tried to find a new bearing, but your only option will be to buy the entire brush for $20, so I did. Not wanting this one to die I resolved to keep it clean. This means disassembling the vacuum about twice per battery charge to clean that bearing out as it's already heating up. One time I missed a cleaning and it ate itself again. Another $20 down. All this stress on the brushroll wore out the gearbox and now it loudly squawks like an angry duck every time it rolls over a throw rug. At this point I'm done trying to make a new product work as advertised. I called Shark for warranty support and they agreed to replace the unit. All I have to do is send mine back first, pay $25 for shipping and wait 2 months for a brand new unit. I explained that I already sunk $40 into their pile of garbage and that I'm not interested in spending another penny on a product that has only disappointed me but they wouldn't budge. All said and done, I'm thinking I'll write this off as a $300 mistake and buy a Roomba.

    Falling down stairs

I got the robot in December 2017. I can't ever let it run when I'm not home because it flew off the stairs every time I ran it so I put the magnetic strip down and all it does is move it and then fly down the stairs. Im very frustrated with this product because I shouldn't have to monitor it the whole time. The main reason to get one of these vacuums is so that you can let it run when you're not home but I have to supervise it and get up every time it goes near the stairs. Not a great product in my book.
