Way better than the Roomba we had,maps well,doesn't get stuck,cleans herself

Definitely buy! Works great and is quite while in use. The dumping of the trash it a little loud, but not a deal breaker.

We were pleasantly surprised at the cleaning power.

We absolutely love this robot vacuum! We previously had a Roomba, which we also liked. But after years of use and it breaking, we decided to try this one. I was back and forth on this Shark or the updated Roomba. Let me tell you, I couldn’t be happier with the decision to buy the Shark. We LOVE the auto empty feature! Believe it or not, it holds much more in the empty tank than you would think. We have two large dogs who shed a lot and this has kept up very well.

got this for my mom for christmas and she loved it! Works great on her carpet and hardwood. Love the "trash can" attachment!

We have I-robots in other rooms of the house so we were reluctant to try the Shark. We are very pleased with its performance.

It seems each year, the new Robot Vacuums keep learning new tricks and clean better. This latest Shark IQ Robot is a perfect example. It makes me very happy I waited until now to get one. Older robots were more hit and miss. They just kind of rambled around the floor, missing some spots. I was impressed with this IQ Robot. It traveled in perfect straight lines, it overlapped slightly so that it cleaned everything. It also seemed smarter than others, other brands if they encountered chairs around a table, they seemed to ‘give up.’ The IQ found a way to get between the chairs and cleaned under the table. Also the IQ features a self cleaning brush roller. If your pet has long hair, the IQ ‘untangles’ it before it can twist and clog up the roller. I’ve only used the machine for a few days so I couldn’t test that feature yet, but the idea that I won’t have to spend time with a scissors and an upside-down robot trying to clean it up is very appealing. The ‘mapping’ feature on your smartphone is found on newer robots and it’s included here. The Sharkclean App connects via WIFI to the cleaner, after a few passes it draws a map of your floors, allowing you to have the robot clean the whole floor, or just certain rooms if you like. Also, it comes with a magnetic plastic strip roll that you can cut and put on the floor to tell the robot “No no, don’t come in here.” Also if for some reason the robot senses it’s battery is near empty, it automatically heads back to the base for a full charge before it sets out again to finish the job. The really new feature of this model is the bagless ‘self emptying’ base. When the robot is finished and returns to the base, you can hear the base turn on and actually empty the dirt out of the robot, giving you a fresh empty device to start cleaning next time, automatically. Shark says you’d only have to empty the base about every 30 days, I would guess depending on how many passes the robot makes. Since owners of other robots say emptying the unit after almost every cleaning is a major fault of the device, What’s not to like about not needing to worry about that! I DID notice that the IQ Robot was a little louder than my neighbor’s older unit. I think that’s probably because the suction on the IQ is stronger than the others. With more suction and cleaning power, you get more noise. Not much you can do about that. I think it’s totally worth it with extra cleaning power.

Difficulty getting over threshold to clean bedrooms.

Buying this felt like a purchase we did not need to make. Boy was I wrong. I love this machine. Works well, cleans well. Well worth the money

We did alot of research before deciding to buy this vacuum. It was between the Shark and iRobot vacuums. I am very happy we decided to get this one instead. For the price difference, we have had it 6 months and have only had an issue when we lost power at the house from a storm. Once power was back on, we connected it back to the internet and it worked perfectly after that. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic addition to our house. Cleans when we don’t want to , empties out it self and doesn’t talk back. Lol

Works ok, but can’t control it very well. Continues to clean the same area about 2 to 3 times before it moves on. Works good when you have it on max power but it also uses a lot of its battery..

It is doing a great job at figuring out the areas it needs to clean. It also does a great job cleaning.

It is handy and cleans well. Self cleaning is good to have since with pets it usually needs to be emptied every time.

I was worried that it couldn't navigate across thick carpets and throw rugs but it goes everywhere. Seldom gets stuck. Great for the price!

I previously owned several iRobot floor cleaners however this shark model works better in my opinion.

I love that it self empties. I bought this due to my dog shedding soooo much. It does an alright job but I do generally re sweep because it doesnt seem to get everything. I still find hair balls it has at least mashed together so I can easily sweep them up.

A great value compared to the Irobot ones. The large canister is amazing and really makes this an automatic vacuum. Only issue is the robot itself builds up pet hair pretty quickly that doesn't get sucked out. The Irobots are better but so much more expensive. App isn't the best and functions are limited.
