We got this self emptying Shark to run either the main floor or the basement opposite from our Neato D7......yikes no comparison. The Shark just liked going around the perimeter of the room and repeating. Our Neato D7 really sounds like it is vacuuming and covers the whole room...not the Shark.... it just sounds clunky and there is just a little bit of suction by comparison .... Any way its going back to the store.

Great little device. Cleans my hardwood floors with ease.

works great with the once in a while it manages to get itself stuck under our sofa,not from the front but when it rotates and backs up a little bit it forces the bumper down. Other than that one issue it would be 5 stars.

This is my second shark robot. My first did not have the navigation or bin so this was definitely an upgrade. The only issue I have had is the mapping. It takes awhile and I’ve had to do it a few times for it to learn my whole area. I also have had to contact shark customer service to help clear an error but they were amazing.

Took close to 100 runs to map my bottom floor, but it runs amazingly.

I have the robot vacuums, an older roomba, Samsung, and this one. The Samsung is the best at obstacle avoidance because it uses LiDAR and a camera, however this shark is my favorite because of the self empty bin. The shark also does a fantastic job mapping the rooms and does a great job on hardwood.

We’ve had a few other brand robot vacuums and I can confirm this one is the best. It does good patterns, not random paths through a room. It goes under the couches, in closets, and has only gotten stuck a few times. I don’t think any can replace vacuuming, but they certainly can help you go more days without it.

This vacuum was packaged really well. It was easy to open and assemble.

Omgoodness. I love this this product it is so helpful and it cleans itself out. When ever it’s time to clean it’s just myself and my roomba. Every other day I have it set to gontru the house. It’s so nice to come home from Work and have all my rugs vacuumed as well as my tile Being sweeped.

Nice but it’s pretty loud. Also gets caught on wires and other stuff. Does a good job. Definitely picks up a lot of dog hair and other debris.

It does alright but picks up much less than my standard vacuum cleaner. It will also only clean a single level. You cannot use this product to clean a multi-level home and this is not disclosed anywhere on the packaging or in the instructions. When I called customer care they said that the instructions reading “avoid moving the robot or base” was this disclosure but I disagree.

The Shark IQ R100AE Robot Vacuum has helped me keep up with my housecleaning as I can schedule it and then forget it. My only real complain is that it did not come with enough magnetic strips to mark off areas to avoid.
