This little monster sucks pretty good. He gets stuck pretty good too. Just make sure he has room to work and you're all good.

Works great love how the dock cleans out the shark iq. And the dock doesn’t need any bag inside. Also great for managing your pet hair if they shed a lot.

This is a life changer. I purchased a cheaper brand - took it back and purchased this Shark! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Mapped my house easily, goes up and over all of my area rugs, and gets my floors super clean. Buying this has improved my quality of life ten fold.

Was going to get a roomba but read reviews for this and decided to go for it. I have three dogs, so lots of pet hair and dirt from their cute little paws all over. This shark vacuums it all up and empties in the base when full. Goes from hardwood to carpet with no issue.

I was so excited to get such a great value on a self emptying robot vacuum.. I read hundreds of mixed reviews ( the extremely good ones must be paid reviewers) and decided to take the leap. Well, you get what you pay for I suppose... the self emptying feature is awesome, battery life isn’t bad (unless running it on high then it goes quickly), mapping ability is so-so.. it’s done 15 runs and still hasn’t mapped my separate rooms, suction/cleaning ability is terrible.. it literally goes over debris and leaves it there, if you have it on high power sometimes it will pick up debris (when I say debris I’m talking fuzz balls or a visible crumb on the floor, not chunks of stuff), but you can’t run it on high long at all. I decided to try It for 3 weeks so that I have it Fair time map rooms, clean several times, and hopefully sway me into loving it... well that didn’t happen. So, I got back on beat buys site looking to return... realized they have a 15 DAY return policy... 15 DAYS?.. that is certainly not enough time to decide if you’re satisfied with a $500 robot that takes at least 10 runs to even remotely learn your home layout. So, now I’m stuck with a robot I’m not satisfied with. Just all around disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend you get this product... go with a Roomba as their suction/cleaning power is about 99% vs Sharks at maybe 83%.

Works great on solid floors which is why we got it. It cleans up 99% of the pet hair in our main living area. It does a decent job on carpet, but for a deeper carpet clean, you still need a stronger vacuum.

This Shark just cleans better than my old Rumba. It mapped out my house in just 2 uses. It vacuums in rows rather than all over the place. BIG plus, you don’t have to empty it every time you use it!!

    Trouble with Wifi connection

I am giving this vac a 3 star review because of the connection issues we had with keeping the Wifi connection. I LOVE the vacuum itself. I love the mapping ability. I love being able to set up No Go Zones. I LOVE that it would self empty. For us the problem was that we could never get it to stay connected to the Wifi. (Yes I did try moving the base,) I called in to Shark multiple times for assistance. Tech Support was great. But they told me that I would need to call my internet provider and ask for an additional guest network to be created. Spectrum quickly told me that was NOT going to happen. I deleted and added the robot back in the app 6 times in the 2 weeks I had it. It was just not the right product for us. Yes I could have just pressed the clean button and let her go. But without Wifi, and without using the app, you cannot control the maps, select rooms to be cleaned or change the suction. So why spend all the money for something that cannot do what you need it to do? Why pay for the extra tech if you cannot get it to work? With much sadness I boxed her up and took her back to Best Buy.

Cleans Great, Doesn't Empty Quite As Good

Does as advertised. Unit cleans area requested. The map allows selecting rooms to clean. The brush roller has not clogged up and I have 4 mini schnauzers and two cats. Only reason this does not get a 5 star rating is the vacuum drawn on the dust cup to empty into the base is not strong enough to remove lint/hair through the tiny port, so it fails to clean and the unit alerts dust cup missing. Have to manually clean the cup, then set the unit back into the base.

Great product. It doesn't run a random pattern so that it will map your house. Once your are satisfied with the map you can assign rooms and set a schedule for the rooms. The self empty is a nice feature as well.

I really like cleans good. I tried to map at night and that didn’t work to good. It needs light to map. Turning on light at night does not light up enough, I recommend day time mapping. Small issue is it states it low battery and my power off, but it’s on the dock charging. I had to start it cleaning & then dock again. I’m been please let with everything else, actually surprised how well it cleaned. It does better job after mapping is done.

I really kinda love this thing. We just built a house and have hardwood floors in every room but the bedroom. We haven't finished the landscaping yet so it is all dirt outside which blows in every time someone opens the door. Before I got this vacuum, I couldn't walk around my house barefoot because of the grit that was ALWAYS underfoot. I run the vacuum twice a day and no more grit. We also have two dogs so no more pet hair either.

Absolutely love it. I did a ton of research, as I was torn between the roomba and the shark. I wanted the price of the shark but the features of the roomba..... after weeks of watching videos, seeing both negative and positive reviews of both, I decided on the shark. I have 4 German Shepherds, all indoors most of the day. This vacuum picks up everything. I have to remember to pick up their toys, but that’s about to. I do run it a minimum of two times a day, and I never have to go behind it and sweep. I’m actually able to mop right after it does it scheduled run. I empty the container every day because I know my dogs are shedding, but that’s it! It cleans like it should and I am buying another one for upstairs!

I was so excited to get this item for my parents for a Christmas gift. They have three cats so I figured this could help with the day to day cleaning of their main living areas. I watched the infomercial and read many reviews so I was confident this was the right one to buy. The first problem was finding an area that works to set it up. It needs a certain amount of clearance on all sides. Once they had it set up, it kept pushing the cat hair around and only picked up some debris. My dad followed it around with his old cordless stick and was picking up more with it. When it went to empty itself, it was giving a warning that it was jammed but my dad said that there was only a tiny bit of cat hair in it. Also, my dad said it was pretty loud. It was also having trouble mapping. It repeatedly went over the same spots and was getting stuck on a chair. To be fair though, they didn’t give it the allotted time to map everything out. I’m sure this can be a good product for some people but it didn’t work out for my parents. We returned it and bought a Dyson cordless stick vacuum which they really love.

Thank you for sharing your review. We are very sorry to hear that the robot did not meet your initial expectations. While the robot is cleaning you can change the suction power between the Eco, Normal, or Max modes in the app. We also recommend setting up a schedule so that the robot will automatically clean your floors once a day, over time we are confident that you will see the benefits and convenience of the Shark IQ Robot. Regarding the noise, we enabled dirt engage for deeper carpet cleaning and a self-cleaning brushroll to remove hair wrap that may cause the robot to run louder than other models. We hope that you decide to try Shark again. If you have any questions, our robot specialists are available at 888-228-5531, Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-9 p.m. ET | Sat. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. ET.

Quick to set up and easy to use. I have 3 dogs and there is no way this will go the stated 30 days before I have to empty the bin, but it can go a week after being run several times during the week.
