Fantastic Robot Vacuum with Powerful Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 has exceeded all my expectations. The suction power is impressive, and it picks up dust, hair, and debris effortlessly. The mapping is accurate, the routes are efficient, and it transitions smoothly between floors and carpet. The app is intuitive, schedling is simple, and the cacuum runs quietly. Overall, this robot vacuum delivers outstanding cleaning performance and convenience. Highly recommend!

Clean Latifah
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m satisfied with the robot, and I haven’t even used the mop feature. It’s going to get real interesting when the model that goes up/down stairs hit the market!

Surprised me!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Kraken-per our dogs I had to send her out a few times to learn/map the house. Over time she changes her pattern. Doesn’t clean the same. I’m amazed at how much “stuff” gets picked up. I think I can do without the mop part. Kinda a pain in my opinion. For some reason she only cleaned half the area today. Will keep an eye on that. Otherwise more than I expected really. I’m happy with my purchase

Avoid Due to App and Map
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The good here is the vacuum and the base. They are really good quality and work very well especially for the price. The vacuum does a better job than my previous robot. The mopping ability is also very good. The bad however is really bad. The Shark app and mapping is horrible. The app is glitchy. The set up took multiple tries to get mapping correct. The robot just kept spinning and going back to the base. When things are supposedly mapped, then you have to set up for rug avoidance. No matter how much you re-run the thing never fully gets it right. It either goes on the rug or goes so far from the rug that there’s no point. Additionally the robot is always going into areas not mapped and getting stuck. It will sometimes just spin in circles. Oh, if you have two floors you can’t have two different maps. With the price better than competitors I bought two, one upstairs and one down and now I regret it. I really want to love this but the app and mapping is so bad all I want to do is return both.

great purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's not too bulky and quiet compared to my previous irobot model. I like the design and suction depth. I'm still learning to work with the app but overall great product!

Very happy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very happy. I had an old roomba (800 series) besides the auto empty feature, this is much quieter and seems to do a better job with the methodical back and forth instead of random patterns. The moping feature isn't too great. I have a large downstairs area. It didn't get half way done before it needed more water. I'm still very happy.

Best robot I've had so far
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have tried iRobot and shark. Of the two I prefer shark. The cost is lower. It works better. And I have to manage it less. These are all pluses. Plus this model has mopping ability. Which my other robot does not. Even though it cost in and around the same price perhaps even a little bit more than the shark. Now here's the downside: the robot will not switch from vacuuming to vacuum up on its own. You have to make a conscious choice for it to mop. Which means using their special cleaning fluid or water. As you cannot use stuff the suds up. That can get expensive. Fortunately there are many sources for this fluid relatively cheap. The fluid for the vacuum mops / robot mops work great. It's the same stuff. Buy that. Another good feature that I forgot to mention is that the mop pads are reusable. I robot doesn't have a lot of reusable parts. They really don't. You can wash the mop pad over and over again without a problem. And honestly after a good cleaning mission you probably want to wash the mop pad. Another good part is the base. There is no bag inside there. Thank you. iRobot puts a bag in their base. That's annoying. Even if you buy off brand parts it's still expensive to maintain. Thank you so much for not being a jerk and using the bag. Finally, we have to talk about one other downside to shark. It doesn't pick up quite as well as iRobot. Is that a huge difference? No. They almost clean as well. I robot is better at cleaning out the robot then shark is. Sometimes you have to open up the dustpan and suck it out with a regular vacuum. That's annoying. But considering how often iRobot broke down on me I'll take this minor annoyance. In truth, any cleaning robot is better than no cleaning robot. We all don't clean our floors quite the way we should. We are busy. We need someone or something that is more than happy to clean, clean, clean. That's a robot for you. Any robot you choose is a win. I cannot say for sure if the shark is better than other brands such as roborock. Because I've never personally owned those robots. But I can compare iRobot to Shark. And I say if you had to choose between the two choose Shark. You're going to have so much more bang for your buck.

Good robot for a smaller less carpeted area
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This robot does a good job on small areas. I purchased it for an upstairs level that is primarily carpet. It didn't hold the charge very long because of the extra work on the carpet and the large area (over 1500 sq ft). Also, the base isn't very sturdy and the robot kept having trouble docking to empty its dust bin. I'm sure if I had an area with a hard floor and outlet that it would have worked better, but I didn't want it sitting in my bathroom so I was limited to a carpet placement which isn't recommended. I returned it and purchased the more expensive version that I already had one of for my lower level.

Powerful, Smart, and Truly Convenient!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The suction power is impressive, and the sonic mopping does a fantastic job on my hard floors. The home mapping feature is spot-on, allowing the robot to clean efficiently without missing spots. I love that it’s self-emptying less maintenance for me! Connecting it to Wi-Fi and controlling it via the app is super convenient, and I can schedule cleanings even when I’m not home. It’s been a game changer in keeping my home clean with minimal effort. Definitely worth the investment!

An Amazing Robot vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this amazing product for the last month and a half. This robot vacuum has given me so much peace of mind and I'm constantly impressed by how well it works. The app is very easy to use, maps out your house very accurately, and does way better than my manual labored vacuuming and mopping. It allow you to mark carpeted areas so the mopping feature doesn't mop on the carpet. I've recommend this product to so many friends and family members of mine and they all share the exact same opinion. Must buy, it'll change your life and give you a lot of time to do other things in the house. I got this product as a total tech deal and it was an amazing buy!

Great vaccuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this vaccuum. It will vaccuum and mop at the same time and take alot of stress off me. My only complaint is with the app not allowing for multiple schedules and the no go zones arent small enough for the spaces i need to be no go zones. Not a huge ordeal though

Keeps our home nice and clean
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our little robit, aptly named Steve McClean, is a hard and highly valued worker. He's pretty decent at mapping out the house, although it did take a few attempts to get it perfectly accurate (he struggled with defining the wall that separates the guest room to the adjacent room, making it all one big area). He's on a scheduled clean every day and it's such a nice feeling to get home from work to nice clean floors. We use the mopping function once a week to keep our floors taken care of. He's made a decent quality of life upgrade.

No bueno
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re in the market for a vacuum that truly embodies the essence of “sucks,” look no further than the Shark vacuum. **Performance:** - **Suction Power:** It’s almost impressive how poorly it manages to pick up dirt and debris. You might as well be using a broom. I’ve seen my cat’s fur laughing at it, as it effortlessly glides past. - **Versatility:** Shark claims versatility, but this vacuum struggles to transition from carpet to hardwood. It’s like watching a toddler try to ride a bike for the first time—awkward and ultimately unproductive. **Design:** - **Weight:** If you’re looking for an upper body workout, congratulations! This vacuum weighs a ton. Maneuvering it feels like dragging a small elephant around the house. - **Noise Level:** The sound it makes is reminiscent of a jet engine taking off. Who knew vacuuming could double as a noise complaint? **Ease of Use:** - **Cord Length:** The cord is so short that it’s practically a tether. You’ll find yourself playing an elaborate game of “how close can I get to the outlet?” - **Maintenance:** Emptying the dust canister is an exercise in futility. It’s like trying to get toothpaste back in the tube—messy and frustrating. **Overall Impression:** In conclusion, the Shark vacuum excels at one thing: proving that not all vacuums are created equal. If you’re in the mood for a vacuum that provides minimal suction and maximum sarcasm from your friends and family when they see you using it, then by all means, go for it. Otherwise, you might want to keep looking. Was this review helpful, or are you looking for something more specific?

Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been several months since I purchased this unit. Overall it works fairly well, but it does not clean everything as thoroughly as expected. You also need to replace the pads every time you use it, otherwise it starts to develop a dirty smell. For the past two months it has also been making a loud noise that it did not make when I first started using it. Another issue is connectivity. It occasionally disconnects from the internet and reconnecting it can be frustrating. It also tends to miss spots that are completely unobstructed and it does not reliably respect the no go areas that are set in the app. Because of these issues, the performance feels inconsistent compared to when it was new. Overall it is decent, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Posted .Hello Robert,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how important consistent cleaning performance, reliable connectivity, and quiet operation are when using your robot. Noticing reduced cleaning coverage, loud noises, no‑go zones not being followed, and a persistent odor from the pads can certainly be frustrating, especially when the unit performed better when it was new. This definitely isn’t the experience we want for our customers. We’d love the opportunity to take a closer look at your unit and go through a few troubleshooting steps to help address the noise, connectivity concerns, and cleaning performance. Please feel free to give us a call at 1‑888‑228‑5531, where one of our robot product specialists will be more than happy to assist you. We're available Monday–Friday: 9 a.m.–9 p.m. ET, and Saturday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m. ET.
